Clan Requirements

You must have the following:

• an application posted that shows to us you know how this clan works.
• The desire to see yourself and the clan grow, as a team.
• Strong sense of loyalty, friendship, and honor.
• P2p/Bonds Membership

• Combat level of at least 90
or
• Total level of at least 1250
Future Requirements

As the clan grows we will need to slow down the stream of members and we will implement level and skill requirements. For now, anyone with the above qualities can join.

Staying in the clan

If you meet our requirements, you are more than welcome to join. However, ranking up, and more importantly being allowed to stay in the clan is solely based on your activity, and participation. You might be max level, EST or GMT time zone, and online all day, but if you do not participate and help the clan, then you do not meet the original, founding requirement:
• The Ability and Will to succeed in the clan, to help, and to prosper.

THIS IS IMPORTANT:

Unlike many clans, we regularly kick inactive members. We want only the best here with us, and as such, we use a risk list and points to determine who is at risk of being kicked. Please be sure to earn points weekly, or simply cap each week, so that you are never at any risk. Those who are active, social, and hard-working, will be given ranks for helping improve the clan. Thanks

Clan Rules

1) be active, participate, and help make this clan amazing!

2) (Respect) Slander, racial slurs, derogatory terms will not be allowed in clan chat. (Cursing allowed to a small extent)

3) (Honor) Luring or scamming clan members - or any attempts thereof - will result in you instantly being banned.

4) (Integrity) Your behavior should promote the friendly and mature environment we expect. Especially in times of great stress, please do not engage, act out, or be overly immature.

5) (Loyalty) Help the clan whenever you want, and as much as you can. Recruiting, capping, advertising, or simply attending and creating events. Do everything and anything, it will be rewarded.

6) (Chat) Religion, politics, sex, drug use and other risky chat (while allowed) should be taken to PM or Friend Chat to prevent possible arguments! Also:
• Do not beg for money.
• Do not ask for ranks.
• Do not advertise gambling of any kind.
• If a rank asks you to change the subject, do so peacefully.
• Do not start or promote arguments. They are never needed, nor wanted.

7) (Name Changes) if you decide to change your name, please inform the clan by posting your old and new name on the forum.

8) (Absence) all we ask is that you let us know when you will be away. Simply fill out the leave of absence form on this forum.

9) (Citadel) Produce your own ore and charcoal before making bars, unless given permission by higher ranks.

10) (Greetings) greet members that log on, and welcome new recruits. It promotes an active and friendly environment.

Consequences

In order to always remain fair, and give people a second chance, we use a simple system. We understand that people can slip up; we are human after all, so nearly everything can be forgiven. Of course, what cannot be forgiven results in instant removal?

Activity:

The main reason people would be removed from the clan is activity. We require activity but you may choose any way to earn points in order to remain active. If you don't like capping, you don't have to, as long as you do something else instead. This goes for anything really.

People who are inactive for too long will be put on the risk list and demoted (waiting to be kicked). The risk list is located in the clan forums, which can be accessed by hovering over community > clans.
Breaking rules:

The other way people can earn demotions or kicks is by breaking rules. Almost no one has done so, and we hope to keep it that way. However promoting negativity in chat, disrupting events, or breaking any of our rules can easily do this. Our goal is to keep a positive chat, do fun events, and strive for excellence. If you do not help with our goals, you would hinder them, and this is unacceptable.

Some rules are much more important than others. Being a nuisance will not get you removed from the clan right away, however consistently doing so might end up with that as the outcome. Only major issues will force us to remove anyone form the clan. Our only goal is to provide a friendly and positive environment for all!

How to Succeed - Ranking System
This post is to summarize what to do to rank up or to stay in the clan. This is what every rank should do, with higher ranks doing much more of it. Use this to guide you on your path to the high ranks, and eventually higher. In order to stay in the clan, you need to do some of these, but in order to rank up, and to help; you should do more than just a few.

1) Recruiting. This is crucial to the growth, and success of the clan.

2) Citadel capping. Just an hour or 2 spent a week for this, and you've helped the clan.

3) Creating events. Anyone can do it, and by doing so you promote activity.

4) Attending events. If you don't want to create them, attend them!

5) Attending meetings. This is a crucial part of being in a clan.

6) Responding/using CC. This is important, and if you always have all chats off and never respond we might suspect you of botting. Trust me, which is not good.

7) Be on time. If an event is at 12, it will be announced repeatedly in clan chat. Come early!

8) Finally, go out of your way to be the best you can be!

Ranking System

As explained in further detail below, we will be using a Dual Ranking system. Normal members of the clan, who start as Recruits, will earn points for everything they do for the clan, and with the clan. These points will Rank them up. Past a certain point, the leadership ranks, higher ranked members in the council will vote and decide if a Rank up should be awarded.

Points and Ranking Up

In this clan, we operate with a system of points to check everyone's activity. Points are stored on a Google Doc. You can earn points by being active in the clan.

Attending Events

- +1 point per event, for every official event. Most short events, and some unofficial events are just for fun. Large events that last for over an hour may award a bonus +1 point!

Hosting Events

-Hosting scheduled events, or large events will now earn you an extra +1 point! There will be restrictions on this however, so that you cannot gain too many points too fast!

Attending Meetings

-In fact they are actually mandatory if you are online, so you may start losing points if you miss them, otherwise its +1 point!

Capping in Citadel

-You may cap once a week, and doing so will earn you 3 points if you cap correctly.

Bumping the RS Thread

-People who bump will be awarded bonus points for consistent bumping no more then once per half an hour.

Planting the Clan Vex

-People who consistently plant our vex around will be awarded bonus points.

Changing your name

-If you get a clan name you get +2 points! (Pm me before you do!)

Recruiting New Members

-Every person you recruit, you will earn +2 points. Be sure to remind them to read forums and apply once they join and to add your name!

Mentoring New Members

-You can mentor your own recruits, or others. Doing so will give you +1 points.

Joining Discord
- +1 point for you!

Clan Mentor System

I want all of our new recruits to feel welcomed, and either before or after they read through our forums, I'd like one of our mentors to help them feel like they are truly one of us. Teach them the ropes, and help them get started on their way to ranking up!
The key points in mentoring a new recruit are as follow:
1) Welcome the new recruit, settle them in, get them to read the forum, and apply once the following steps are also done.
2) Ask the recruit if they need help with anything clan related (such as how to cap in citadel) and ask them if they have any questions.
3) Give them a short tour of the citadel, explaining some of the basic mechanics. (As they have or will read forums they should know how capping works)
4) Take them to the clan camp to get a clan cloak, clan vex, and a Tyras Helm from Port Sarim!
5) Explain how to get to the clan Private forums, to see risk list, and roster/discord links.
6) Post on forums or tell me that you have finished mentoring someone to get credit.
Mentor Benefits:

Recruiting is only half the journey. This is why we have decided to split the 2 recruitment points into 1 recruitment point, and 1 mentoring point. If you recruit someone, mentor them as well if you are part of the system! If not, please direct them to forums or to another mentor

---- If you need a mentor, contact the leader, or any of current mentors. To become a mentor, you need to be Rank 3+ (Sergeant) and apply using the short form located in Clan Home!
