Who We Are

Our clan motto is, "Skillin', Killin' and Chillin' under the

blood red

As stated in our motto,

Vyrewatch Empire is a close-knit, small clan that is passionate about socializing, skilling, and playing RS on a regular basis

. Started back in 2015 by a group of friends who were tired of being lone wolves, Vyrewatch Empire has gone through many changes over the years but we are held together by the call of skilling, chilling and killing under the blood red moon:

Skilling

: The majority of our members aspire to have maxed levels in every (or most) skills. For this reason, most of our clan events revolve around group skilling such as POH prayer parties, capping at our skill plots in the citadel, Shooting Star and motivating each other to do farming runs.

Killing:

What would a vampire be without blood shed? Combat may become another feature of our clan in the future in the forms of friendly wars with other clans, bossing and PVE.

Chilling:

Arguably the most important part of our clan is our desire to be a small social clan that loves to help one another, joke around, give advice on money making and a variety of skills. We want to be even more close-knit through mentoring new/ returning members, friendships and events.

A Brief Overview of Clan's History

Version 1 (2015- summer 2016):

Vyrewatch Empire comes into existence as a clan to hang out, chat and skill together. Unfortunately, many original members stop playing RS and the clan falls into disarray.

Version 2 (summer 2016- April 2017)

: New recruit Blakdeath247 is promoted to deputy owner and collaborates with upper ranks - we have worked hard to make Vyrewatch Empire even better through recruiting, establishing ranking systems, clan events and activities, and much more.

Version 3 (May 2017- now)

: Our vision for the future is to create a clan that is vampire-themed, more close-knit through mentor-ship and regular group events, and has a voice-chat. Additionally, we want to have friendly wars and friendships with other clans such as werewolf-themed clans. Are you looking for a

Vyrewatch's Objectives & Goals

1.

Vyrewatch Empire is an inclusive social support clan

for helping one another no matter what skill level or amount of time playing RS. As a new recruit once put it, "Playing Runescape on my own wasn't the same, so I quit. But when I started playing with you guys, it was suddenly something I wanted to do every day."

2.

Vyrewatch Empire is not only a social clan, but a skilling clan.

As stated by deputy owner Deepseal, "Do you want to reach level 99 in every skill, or learn how to make RS money? That's what we are about- we can help you get there if that's what you need."

3.

We want to have an active clan chat.

Through the use of voice chat or RS clan text chat, our goal is to have at least 10 members participating in clan chat between the hours of 0:00- 4:00 UTC.

4.

We strive to build and update a Citadel Stronghold with multiple skill plots, ranks, and avatars.

Each clan member is expected to enter the citadel and collect their quota of resources from the agreed upon plots. This helps unite our clan as opposed to being a group of individuals as we all strive for a common goal.

It is our clan's intention to have roughly 50 active members

Clan Rules and Regulations

Rule #1: Follow all rules set out by Jagex and Runescape

.

This includes being respectful of others, your clanmates and Runescape itself. We want to encourage people to join our clan, not drive them away.

Rule #2: No spamming the chat, scamming or immature speech.

Its fine to joke around or work together in money making, but those who scam or spam the clan chat, will be kicked out of the clan chat, out of the clan and will be reported.

Rule #3: Cap each week at the clan citadel

:

In order for our clan to maintain and upgrade our citadel, we require all members to collect resources. Those who do not will not advance in rank, and may even be kicked out. For more information, click here.

Rule #4: Participate in at least 2 clan events per week.

To keep our clan running and active, members are strongly encouraged to participate. Capping counts as an event (mandatory), as does recruiting, participating in clan events, and working on our clan forum pages. For more info, click here.

Rule #5: Participate in our clan chat and voice chat as much as possible.

Keep speech civil, mature and non-offensive (no sex talk, racism, sexism, etc).

Rule #5: Please use the clan thread for event & activities list as well as updates on the citadel.

This not only keeps our clan active, but helps attract recruits after they see what kind of things our clan does

Vyrewatch Empire Ranking System: Introduction

Ranking in our clan is largely determined by the following criteria: capping at our citadel plots, helping others and attending clan events/ recruiting. Each week, you can get a maximum of 20 points towards the next rank:

1. Entering the citadel:

2 points

2. Capping:

3 points

3. Helping others or talking in cc

: 1 point (up to a maximum of 5 points)

4. Recruiting:

5 points

5. Attending clan events

: 2 points max

Bonus points: Looking at, bumping or responding to clan forum home page and/ or recruitment thread.

Up to 3 points

Each Week during the weekend, your points for the week will be tallied up and recorded in a post by the higher ranks in the clan** (see above thread post).

Maintaining Your Rank

To maintain your current rank, clan mates (above the rank of recruit) are expected to maintain their fealty rank 3 by entering the citadel each week and capping

.

If you cannot cap for one week, let admins know so you will not be penalized- please make an attempt to enter the citadel or collect whatever resources you can.

Penalty:

If you fail to enter the citadel or cap for 3 consecutive weeks without a valid excuse, you may lose a rank. You may receive a warning if you are not participating in the clan as well.

If you are absent from the clan or fail to enter the citadel/ cap for a month, you may risk being kicked out of the clan (without a valid excuse).

Clan Ranking System: Recruit Probation

When a new recruit joins our clan, Vyrewatch Empire has a 2-4 week probation period before the recruit can move on to the next rank.

Week 1: Learning the Ropes:

During the first week, new recruits can meet members of their clan, get to know everyone and participate in the clan chat. Admins and mentors will give them a tour of the citadel and teach them about what the clan is about. This includes introducing them to our clan home page & helping them set up your voice chat.

Week 2: Continue learning and optional capping:

If new recruits choose to try capping, they can get half points towards ranking in the future. For example, if a new recruit enters the citadel (1 pt) and caps (3 points) for the week, they will get 2 points towards ranking instead of the full 4 points.

Weeks 3-4: Mandatory Capping:

By the third week of their joining of the clan, recruits are expected to enter the citadel and cap for the first time. After they finish capping 2 weeks consecutively, they will then advance to the next rank of Corporal.

Exceptions

1. Free 2 Play members (F2P) can still join the clan

even though they cannot enter the citadel or play in Member worlds. They cannot advance beyond the rank of recruit, but they will be able to talk on the chat, participate in any activities that can be done on free to play worlds.

However, Vyrewatch Empire does have a preference for members in the clan in order to facilitate capping & events.

2. If a new recruit is unable to cap during the probation period for any reason (i.e. schedule, work, vacation or family emergency), please inform admin+ so they won't be penalized.

Clan Ranking System: Clan Rank Permissions & Benefits for Cadet and Junior Ranks

The below outlines the roles, responsibilities and benefits of the cadet and junior ranks of the clan. The higher your rank, the more benefits you'll receive from being in the clan.

Cadet Ranks

Recruits:

Though new to clan, are allowed into the citadel, can cap, recruit others & participate in most clan events. However, they can only get half points towards further ranks.

Corporal:

After achieving fealty rank of 2, corporals are become full fledged members who can get full points towards future ranks.

Sergeant

: After obtaining fealty rank 3 & accumulating 60 clan pts, sergeants are entrusted with small leadership duties such as checking on the lower ranks for capping, tallying pts, broadcasting events and leading events.

Junior Leaders

These ranks can be given out by high rankers on the basis that the members are active in the clan, will look at the forum weekly and have fealty rank 3.

Lieutenants, captains

: These ranks can be given by admin+ to those willing to lead clan events on a regular basis. Examples include mentors, clan war leader, boss fights, etc.

Generals:

Highest rank of junior leaders and as such the leaders of this division. They ensure that all events are running smoothly and report to admins+. Are you looking for a

Upper Ranks

The following ranks are for those who are leading the direction of our clan.

If you would like to apply for a role in leadership in Vyrewatch, follow the link here for an Application Form for Higher Ranks

Upper ranks are still required to maintain a fealty rank of level 3, participate in clan events and recruit others.

Upper ranks are required to check the forums on a weekly basis (so they know of clan goals for the week, any concerns, to facilitate discussions and help lead clan).

Despite the added responsibility, it is greatly rewarding to be in the leadership of a clan:

Admins:

With a proven track record of being motivated to see our clan grow, helping clan mates and building our citadel, admins can choose one of 4 departments to be in charge of:

managing the lower ranks, clan forums/ voice chat, leading clan events or mentorship.

Benefits of being an admin include:

being able to summon the avatar, change the clan noticeboard, organize or lead weekly clan events (after informing ranks up the chain who can help coordinate events for them).

Organizers, coordinators:

Facilitate the events for admins to ensure the smooth operation of clan affairs. Responsible for writing down clan events on our clan home page and forums & recruitment.Once our clan is more established, we may have one designated for each important leadership role: Mentor program, Citadel, Diversions and Distractions, Group Skilling, Forum Recruitment, Forum Home Page and Clan Warring.

Weekly Form for Tallying Ranking Points

In order to rank in our clan, your points for the week to be tallied up... however, Blakdeath247 (myself) often forgets about this. In order to help out the admins and other ranks, please tally up your personal # of points to help us keep track of who has capped, participated in clan events or has been active in the clan for the week.

Steps for tallying up your weekly points:

1. Copy and paste the following form below on the thread before the reset on Sunday.
2. Fill in your answers, done!
