If you wish to join an alliance of clans, an easy way to find one is to do a thread search on "Alliance". The [qfc id= 135-136-444-65720095]Small Clan Alliance (SCA)[/qfc] might be just what you're looking for, as it is geared towards smaller clans and seems to have fairly recent activity.
