Not much really to touch base on the new material front, but there are some things to touch base on.

====Now Hiring!====

We didn't quite announce this publically yet, but I suppose it is now high time to do so. We have two vacant Lord/Lady roles: Overseer and Army General.

Applicants for Army General are the following:

Applicants for Overseer are the following:

Now, here's a breakdown of those jobs:

Army Lord General : You are the go-to man for War Trainings and War Practices, inter-clan. Also bestow combat know-how on your fellow peers and you essentially get to lead the clan in wars, mostly.

Overseer : Overseer is responsible for seeing if any citizens would like to join our SubClans and recommend any. It is also good to note, that you can be a part of more than one SubClan, if you choose to help out the clan. A while back we decided to incorporate Scribe Lord back into Overseer. So, not only will you oversee the clanmates and see to maintaining a SubClan, should the SubClan Leader not be active and have an active 2ic, 3ic, etc. You are also responsible for some forum work. As a former Overseer, it is quite a hefty job as well.


====Time for some Roleplay====

Our new Roleplay Lord, Jar Jar, has some plans in the works for a Roleplay 101 class for the Kingdom. Will this event be limited to just KoV? Not at all. Once details are worked out there will be an announcement for it, just keep an eye out for it.

====World 103 Community Update====

As many are aware that the Kingdom of Varrock is active within World 103. Our war with the Last Kingdom over the Abyss is postponed until the beginning of June and we will work out a date and terms later.

The reason for this? This is of course to take into consideration, the finals for all of our members who do wish to participate. Now, what is World 103? World 103 is a PoC Community that we were invited to join by the Kingdom of the North. While we are there, we are on friendly terms with most clans, but the terms of the Community still apply. If we have land that another clan wants, they are free to declare war on us for it, ask for a trade, or we can gift it. It normally is the first two options that happen. Updates to our status on there are the following:

Shiro Izrail is now another Representative of the Kingdom of Varrock to World 103

Our Land Claims are the following (copy/pasted from the thread itself):

• - Entrana
* - Al Kharid
• - Brimhaven
• - Enchanted Valley

If you would like to learn more about what W103 is about would like to take part, just ask and we can give you as much information as we can on it.


====A special request...====

Our Head of Recruitment has asked me to remind the clan that the reason for the one-chevron use is also because of an upcoming update to clans that will allow clan admins to mute people individually. That would make the one-rank Recruit mute rank null. Also the reason for this movement is to help stimulate clan growth.

Will this remove the forum application on the Recruitment Thread? No. For our newly recruited players to the Kingdom to rank up, we still encourage the use of our form.

One-chevron ranks are not barred from any events that our SubClans can host or events in general, HOWEVER, they are barred from joining SubClans until they apply on our Recruitment Thread. This has been discussed a while back and I will repeat that something was said then and it still applies now: "Guesting players =/= potential recruits". We have friends in other clans that frequent our clan chat. So sure, we can keep the system as is, or we could strive with trying something new to help out the clan.

Wouldn't too many recruits be a problem? Since when is too many recruits for a clan a problem, in all honesty.

Again, too much change? Perhaps. But in all honesty, is that really a bad thing, if it doesn't hinder clan lifestyles?

As some people have figured out, I am intending on stepping down. My original goal to step down was sometime at the end of May. However, might stick around a little longer, sorry, Sora. Again, mostly to see some things through. What is on my agenda? My statement from the last Royal Address I did, still stands: "That is a secret".

However, as it stands, Lali will make the Sailormoon English dub my theme song yet, by the end of this.

As usual, here's my note to you.

Things have been hectic in real life for a lot of KoVies and we understand that. We are not going anywhere, any time soon and await your return, should you leave. We all understand that real life comes first. Also. Get those Finals done.

It's been an...interesting weekend. Also, I am sure that some people have heard about RJ coming back and some people are wondering what our stance is. For the most part, he not really worth anyone's time. I would like to kindly remind everyone that while we part of the World 103 PoC community, we are also part of the World 83 PoC community. There is really only one that is already established and it is consisting of KoV, EoF, ZK**** and TAK. While we are in a state of mutual agreement, should we feel someone infringe on our territories, do expect to be warred. After all, we are a PoC Community with land claims as well. While our rules are not like w103, we will not hesitate to protect what we claim. I will make that clear.

I would also like to remind our friends/allies/Forumites that most clans will react with hostility should they feel that another clan is purposely pulling their clanmates. Just saying.

Glad to see the return of the overseer position. having someone of lord rank going around and assisting with sub-clan recruitment is a wonderful thing and made getting sub-clan members much less stressful. ¸,.-•*´`*•-.,¸
