It was depressing to see Empire of Swords close off, but the way it was said was amusing at best. So to clarify, we are not making fun of the closure itself, just the way someone happened to say it. While my Royal Addresses are not as big as Lali's tends to be. I will try to fill them in as much as I can. I am aware that KoVies still have classes and such, but the Spring Semester is almost done and then it shall be summer time. So, with that said, let's get this ball rolling, shall we?

====These Sanctioned Halls...====

For those of you that attended the meeting this past Saturday, it was a very long meeting. Since discussing the Hall of Fame does tend to really bring out the interesting sides of people. King Lali did mention that I am working on something regarding the Hall of Fame. This is true, but while the meeting did put some things into perspective, so it's not so much changing what the Hall of Fame is but giving clearer ideas on what it is and it is not changing what it is, or what it's purposes are, but again, to give it some structure and we'll see about what comes about in the next few weeks.

That lengthy meeting though.


====Number Pushing...====

While the latest proposal as far as changing how Recruitment goes has pros and cons. There are pros and cons to every idea proposed and that is to be expected. The use of the Recruitment rank is also due to the Ninja Team working on individual mutings so using it as a mute rank will be obsolete. Also, people staying in a clan is more on an investment on their terms rather than our own, just to make that clear. While we may not like people leaving the clan so soon, if we cannot meet their needs or expectations, we cannot hold it against them either.

So, explaining this "new" method. It will not take away the use of the application. To get further into the clan, one must still apply for "citizenship". Once that has been achieved, they can enter SubClans and such. However, being at the Recruit rank will not bar them from attending our events either.

Especially in the latest patch notes where they took away the seven-day wait time, with as many people we can bring in, we are also at risk of losing them too. That just comes with Recruiting and Clan Life.

I have for the most part, may have forgotten some topics (as usual), but regardless here is a bit of a synopsis for returning RS Players looking for a clan or returning/older clanmates looking at what changes have occurred since your departure. Subclans are available to two-chevron ranks and up.

The Architects

This SubClan maintains the condition of the Clan Citadel and has worked hard over the years to get it to T7 and just last year the Clan Dragon was achieved. If you are mostly into skilling or would like to help out at the Citadel, this clan is for you. See Director Hit for details and/or ask around for joining.

The Dragon Knights

Led by the Grand Master Halo, this group is dedicated to bossing and helping clanmates with achieving their own wealth through the activities of the members and the GM. If you are looking for a group to boss with or need help with particular bosses, look to this group for your monetary gains.

The Varrockian Guard

Led by Master-At-Arms Campo. One can consider them a roleplaying group, but since KoV is a PoC, we do have them. The Guard are responsible for maintaining the in-game face of the clan and defend the Kingdom from every-day problems or issues. If you are looking for some activity or curious as to what The Varrockian Guard is about, like the others, ask and someone will explain or point you in the direction needed.

The KoVian Rangers

Ranger Commander Niterein has returned and formed the Rangers once again. They are a legend and are returning with a vengeance. The Rangers are a focus on both Player-Versus-Player and Roleplay and if you are interested in what they do.

Just as a sidenote, both The Dragon Knights and the KoVian Rangers have a combat requirement and The Varrockian Guards have a quest requirement. That is just a heads up.
