I glanced at my facebook today, people posting pictures of them posing with their pokemon using the AR feature of pokemon go, they seemed happy. I wouldn't know, since Puerto Rico's map is bugged, yep. No one here has been able to play at all since launch, and to top it off due to a bug everyone in PR caught bulbasaurs for starters.

Not the best start but hey, pokemon go will be available some day for us too!

But that won't deter us from giving you a weekly dose of RA!

On this issue we have war, competition, and announcements about subclans, I can't wait!

Let's get right on it!

So we here in the Kingdom of Varrock like to host recruitment drives to further expand our slaves ranks and to do precisely that, our resident British expert, General Waller posted a handy recruitment post on the page before this one but for the sake of exposition I shall paste it here.

The Kingdom of Varrock will be hosting a recruitment competition from the Monday the 11th of July, 00:00 UK time (Sunday the 10th of July 19:00 EST time) until July 31st, 23:59 UK time (18:59 EST time).

Prize money available: 10 million gold pieces.

~Rules~

- One point shall be awarded for each recruit, and a further point shall be awarded if this recruit puts forward a formal application
- Points shall not be awarded for recruits who leave the clan before the competition is over
- A minimum of 5 points shall be required in order to be eligible for the prize money
- The person(s) with the most points shall win the prize money, in the event of a draw, the 10 million shall be split between the appropriate amount of people
- Any foul play shall be punished accordingly
- Participants in the competition must be in KOV
- Alt accounts are, as always, not allowed

~Important~

In the days after the competition ends, the participants must post a list (I will make an appropriate thread in the private clan forums) listing those they have recruited (who are still in the clan) and how many (if any) have filled out a formal application to become full members of the clan.

It is time for
WAR
, sound the battle drums, ring the murder bells and put on your killing hats, the folk over at the Kingdom of Ashdale have assembled their army of potatoes and cereal boxes and are marching on our lands, it is up to you all to fend their nutritious assault!

The K0V vs KASH war will Occur on the 23rd of July, if you feel you are too low levelled to be any help, don't feel that way, that "pathetic low damage" you feel you dish out could be the bit of damage that wins us the war if it becomes a close match.

If you require funding, feel free to request our dragon knights to take you bossing to help you fund better equipment while also learning how to boss.

If you require training, we have and will keep hosting war training to brush up on techniques to improve individual and team efficiency in the battlefield.

If you need levels feel free to ask around for the best ways to power level various skills.

We got over a week to prepare, so let's do this!

---Subclan rescue team, go !------

Sometimes our darling subclans go through abit of a rough patch and we are here to help them in their time of need.

On today's surgery table is our lovely guards, our bulwark against the nasties outside our walls, we fondly remember the days of 5 hour patrols around Varrock

However time hasn't been kind to our Guards in Shining armor and as such we are going to give them a much needed helping hand.


Feel you are qualified to help the guards in their time of need? be sure to contact myself, a fellow royal, or our lords and ladies.

We are also looking for a new Master at Arms to help lead the guards to this rebirth

So do not hesitate!

Waters That Weave Us



The distant boom of cannonfire rumbled through the Archmage's quarters; a great majority of the Wizard's Tower had gone to assist the efforts in Port Sarim, due to their recent pirate ambush, but Rnoy remained to overseer the few pupils that were studying and preparing for the Final Passage.

Staring off at the clouds of smoke in the distance, he would wave one of his students in as they knocked on the partly open door. Not turning from the balcony, Rnoy would mutter, almost as if the fiendish pirates were in their midsts. "What is it, Abagaile?" The young woman squealed in surprise, namely at the fact the Archmage was able to identify her without setting his eyes upon her. She would clear her throat.

"Sorry to bother you, Sir, but we had an unusual guest at the gates." Before she could even finish, Rnoy had turned his attention fully on her. His brow quirked, she read the command, and continued. "It's one of the pirates, Sir..." Interest peeked over Rnoy's tired features. He would approach the girl, stroking his unkept beard. "Where is he now?" The girl winced, her answered muttered, "The infirmary. He was severely injured; we were surprised he was able to make it as far as he did without bleeding out."

Rnoy would nod slowly, waving the girl a dismissal before turning to his desk. His eyes tracing the many charts and maps that lay sprawled out. "Best go greet our guest..."


The infirmary was very much crowded from the wounded forces arriving in boatloads. It wasn't difficult to spot the survivor he was after though; at the far end of the room, a burly man with a seadog twang of an accent, cussing only as a sailor could, would cause the whole room to stare, or rather that in which was conscious enough to do so.

Rnoy approached the rowdy brute, who would settle down as he laid a single eye upon him, the lack of another tucked away behind a blood-stained patch. "By the gods... If dat ain't be the wizard the Eastern Man spoke of... It be... Rnoy, aye?" His brows furrowed, confused, but Rnoy would nod. "Eastern Man? Who is he, and how does he know of me?"

The pirate would shake one of the apprentice mages off that was aiding his wounds before he would sit up, a groan of pain escaping him as he touched his wounded side. Taking several deep breaths, the injured sailor peered up into Rnoy's eyes. "He knew yar pop when you be just a tike." The man paused, Rnoy's expression, to his surprise, remained steadfast. "Ey don' know da fella's name, but he said he be just like ya and yar pop."

Now this did get a reaction. Rnoy's brows raised. Another Nephilim? His father said there were a handful left, but Rnoy figured that a majority of them he had already come in contact with previously. Could there be a whole colony within the uncharted isles of the Arc?

He would crouch down to one knee, as to be the same level as the pirate, muttering as to not include others in the coversation. "Where is the 'Eastern Man'?" The man shook his head, grunting in further pain. "He be har. Capt'* brought 'im here wit' us. He be in a special storage bit of the hold; Capt'* made it right for da Eastern Man, as for he couldn't escape."

That made sense... Well partly... "'Special storage bit'?" Nodding alread, the pirate would clear his throat some, quickly wiping away the blood that spattered from the corner of his mouth. "It be made of some special metals, and be completely sealed, as for da Eastern Man be not in contact with da outside elements." "What is so special about this man?" "Dun know, Capt'* simp' told us he had mystical powers in which would take down da whole ship if released."

Rnoy looked at the floor for several moments, knowing he was running out of time, and had so many questions to ask. Finally, he would look back to the pirate. "Why are you telling me this... and how did you even come of this knowledge?" The pirate would smirk faintly, the gesture as wounded as he. "Ey ain' much time, figure migh' aswell use the rest of it for good." Coughing further blood out, he would rest back on the cot, staring up at the ceiling as he spoke. "The Eastern Man... He could speak to meh... without a voice...... ey heard him in my head... as ey stood watch over him. Mayhap he knew sometin....." The pirate slowly looked at Rnoy with his one remaining eye, a glazed look gleeming over it. "Ey think he knew ey would find ya................."

Rnoy would reach over and gently brush the pad of his thumb over the man's face, closing the remaining eye of his motionless body before slowly standing. He would stare at the body for what seemed like hours. Questions swirling within his mind still. Those would have to be answered from the "Eastern Man," if it wasn't already too late.
