Unfortunately after 10 months in the clan, I'll be leaving SD today. There is no any specific reason for this. As I usually say, a consequence may be caused by several factors. I don't know whether it is appropriate or not to list the number of reasons of my leave on this forum. However, I feel that I should type my reasons here to let everyone know them so SD members can learn with their mistakes.

1. I felt that I was not being given decent leadership opportunities in the council. I was expecting to be given more roles related to management. That barely happen... And only started happening when I totally lost interest in the council.

2. Despite their behaviour within the clan (and although I was literally the most active member and one of the oldest member of SD) other people were allocated management roles (and I had asked to be allocated a specific one previously and that did not happen) leaving me without any.

3. Systematic dramas within the council, what for me represents a very bad and poor leadership as well as a lack of maturity. The leader has never taken any necessary measure to stop those sad episodes. And I do hate dramas.

4. Lack of respect from some members. Due to some happenings and misunderstoods, I ended up being insulted by some clan members both by pm and public chat (and I have witnesses) without any point. Some of those people were unfortunately part of the council. I am not even going to bother to name those people here (and I must not do so). But I want to let everyone know once more that there is perfectly acceptable to show your disagreement and discontent as long as you do it nicely without offending or being rude. Probably some may not have noticed yet but I am not a punching bag. And I do not tolerate lack of respect at all. Success is 98% hard work, 1% inspiration and 2% attention to detail.

5. I do understand that our leader may not be happy with the lack variety of events that have been being hosted lately. I also understand that our leader does not enjoy PvM. What I do not understand is why he complains that some of us were hosting too many PvM events making it too repetitie whilst others were always hosting the same weekly events such as Hide n Seek, Stealing Creation, parades with the same outfits, Anima Islands, Pyramid Plunder and firemaking skilling. Is not that too repetitive as well?

6. Some of the rules were never clarified. And once not clarified, those same rules tend to be easily broken. Unfortunately I can't be more specific about it here.

7. I have proposed a large number of suggestions and measures in order to improve the clan. Most of them were denied. As such, I do not see any improvement.

8. SD does not have what I am currently seeking for. I was planning to become maxed in SD clan and keep growing up here. But that will not be possible anymore.

9. I am becoming busier irl due to uni, making me less and less active in the clan.

With all these reasons, I do not intend to smirch SD clan. I just feel I can do it legitly. And I am giving the chance to let the current leaders know and understand why I am leaving.
Serene Divinity is by far the best clan I have ever been in. All that thanks to Tyras Helmet work and hopefully they will keep growing with the help of the current leaders Cds777 and PowerofPeace.
From now on, I intend to be clanless for some long as I am completely tired of clans. That doesn't mean that I will discard all potential clan invitations that may come up in the future or even the hypothesis of coming back to SD if I wish so. I am currently seeking for a PvM group (not a clan) that is willing to teach me how to PvM top bosses.

Sorry to see you go player. You've been a great help to the clan and getting it to what it is today. Unfortunately, as most of us know, the community in RS these days is not what it used to be. Most people don't enjoy much other than PVM, making money, or other selfish needs. While I don't particularly blame anyone for that, that is the reason our clan isn't yet everything we've promised.

I agree with some of your points, and I don't mind it being here, but I just want to remind you and everyone that we are trying to build something that doesn't quite exist on RS, a clan with people who actually work together as a team, help each other, and have fun. While many clans do that to some degree, we want that to be our main focus, while also being active and sharing responsibility for the betterment of the clan. I may not do everything you or others agree with but everything I do is to make the clan better. I'm sorry but I tried to give you a role as council, but most were already taken. When I did give you one you then decided to step down.

I am sorry to see you go, but if your goals don't align with ours, that's okay. I'm sure many will miss you here! I hope with your help so far, and the help of our current and future members we can make the clan better than what it is now. Have fun, and gl on drops.
