Nice Cj, glad you got membership back :D
Things are pretty good. Rakhi had its 5th birthday party/halloween bash on the 9th and 11th, it was great fun with our allies =) Now I'm cleaning up the member list, and once that ends, then it'll be time to go on to the next step. I'm pleasantly surprised that all of the members that have filled out the form have said they wanted to help. I'm feeling quite optimistic =)

Unfortunately, with the way her life is, she can hardly find time to even visit these forums. Which reminds me, I need to send her a note. I haven't heard from her in months, which worries me =(

Sorry for leaving so abruptly Spyra. I'm posting this from my iPod because my computer froze up. At such an inconvenient time, too. Although I do have a feeling the answer is yes, could you confirm? Just in case, I'll restate the question. So if I can do the labels well go with the coded one, and if not, we'll go with the embedded one? Sorry for making you answer twice, but I didn't get to see your response in-game. X:
Anyways I'm getting off for the night, so cya everyone (:
EDIT: made a few typos so edited them out

Oh, no problem Forr =)
Yes, I would prefer that over the embedded one. The embedded one seems to be a bit harsh on my eyes. Either there's too much white or it's a bright white, cause it's bothersome to look at, for me at least. I would prefer the embedded one to be like an absolute last resort

Heya Rakhi.
I just finished a huge chunk of my homework, after working on it for 4 hours. Hoping that I can finish up the rest of it tomorrow, and then be free for the weekend, except for some reading I have to do.
I did get accepted into one of the courses that I applied for today, though, so I'm sure that'll add bit of additional work load. I should still be able to meet the deadline of Saturday though, Spyra. After that I'll start working on the actual project, although we'll have to collaborate some so I can get an idea of what you'd like.
Anyways, that's it for me. I'm getting off to go to sleep as I'm super tired.

Hi Rakhi ^_^ (Once again.)
I've been crammed with a ton of work :/ I got home from dinner and such around 7, and have been working straight until about 20 minutes ago, or about 1 a.m. I still have a bit of homework left to do that's due tomorrow and hopefully some reading since I have a quiz on some stuff I haven't read yet, but otherwise I'm in good shape.
Aside from me complaining, I do have good news. In the 20 minutes that I've been braking, I've found a potential solution to our little dilemma, Spyra. Although it does have a little Javascript in it, I've found a code that -might- work. The only thing is, that if it does, there will be a box to the side, below, or above the calendar that when you hover over an event, the text shows up in the box that isn't in the calendar, rather than a box that pops up.
I still have yet to test if it will work in a table, as right now I'm playing with it and it's still within a div. Using the ID's though, I think I can combine some of the CSS under one ID for the div for the calendar, then transfer the 'a' tag within each cell and nest it around the event. If this does work out, then we have a solution! :D
Another bonus is that it's already compatible with all browsers. Getting something to look right in IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera is a pain in the butt, as they all have varying levels of support for some of the developing languages. IE being the worse, and since I'm sure a lot of users use IE, I'll have to find a way to code around it. As proof that it's already a challenge, since I coded the original previews for IE, trying to view it in Firefox results in everything overlapped.
Anyways, I'm off to see if I can integrate this with the table. I'm hoping it will. :D
***EDIT***
It works perfectly! Even better than I expected. To keep the cells even though, just hover over the number for the description. By tonight I'll have it ready so you can see for yourself. It'll be the same link, btw.

I'm impressed with your talent Forr. Excellent work! That's really cool! Even the colors are nice on my eyes :D
Hi Bacon ^_^ Well, I have a couple things in mind. One of them being "Member of The Month" awards, for posting the most, attending the most events, maybe a few other categories, I just don't know what... maybe the most humorous could be a category too? lol. I'm also thinking about tweaking the process for trial members to become an official family member, something along the idea of needing X amount of sponsors (a 'sponsor' being an existing family member that says 'yes I think he/she is a good fit for Rakhi'). I think our outstanding issue is activeness, so I'm hoping to address that and resolve it with the help of the family =)

Thanks Spyra ^_^
I also coded a bit of the homepage for the site, if you'd like to see it I can upload the code. I just wanted to make a few more tweaks and actually put some content on it so it'd be a better example of what it'd look like when implemented. Also, if you have any suggestions for any of the site let me know, it shouldn't be a problem.
And also, I really like those ideas. The sponsor I think would work well also, it'd show that they'd be active and join the clan chat, along with meeting and interacting. The only problem would be time zones, those with more difficult time zones should have the 'x' amount of sponsors varied to a more plausible amount.
