Attention clanmates! I'll be holding a special event for you all this Friday, May 4th at 7pm - THE RACE ACROSS RUNESCAPE. The leaders of 3ge have run this race since time immemorial, but it's my thinking that such a great event deserves to be enjoyed by all. If it generates enough interest, I'm hoping that we can make it into a regular thing!
~~~===Race Guidelines===~~~
The Race Across Runescape runs from the Ectofuntus, Port Phasmatys, to the docks of Port Tyras, Tirranwn. Players compete against each other, rushing cross-country, to be the first to the finish line.
It's a fun event for all to enjoy, with plenty of manic dashing around, getting lost, taking shortcuts, wondering "When did they change that route?" and laughing at the misfortune of your fellow players. Truly, a window into the human spirit.
The entire race is conducted on foot. That is to say, all methods of moving your character are banned other than those listed below. If you use anything not listed to travel, then you'll be disqualified and kicked from the Friends Chat for the remainder of the event.
You can:
Walk/Run
Use Agility shortcuts
Enter and exit underground caves
Interact with gates, doors, etc.
Really, just use your common sense. If you're bypassing large sections of the map, then you're doing it wrong.
All inventories should be empty and weight-reducing clothing is banned. Other equipment may be worn freely if you wish, but beware; wearing a full set of heavy armour will put you at a severe disadvantage!
At the beginning of the race, you will have a pair of racing boots and an empty bag caller. Put the boots on and when the signal is given, use the caller to prove that your bag is empty. Anyone who cannot prove their inventory to be empty on cue will be disqualified. The racers will then form a starting line and the race will begin.

~~~===Basic Race Requirements===~~~
Completion of Regicide, allowing access to Tirranwn (The Elf Lands)
A pair of Racing Boots (spares will be available at event start)
An Empty Bag Caller (again, spares will be on hand). You can get both items from Faruq in Al Kharid.

~~~===Recommended===~~~
Explorer's Ring, preferably 3/4, to provide run recharge. This is the only method of recharging run allowed, outside of Resting/Musicians.
A high Agility level will be an advantage.
Ectophial, to provide quick access to the event's start (make sure to bank this when you arrive).
This is an event designed with fun and fairness in mind. The only prize is the satisfaction of crushing your opponents beneath your heel (though there may be one or two "consolation prizes" given out to certain racers!)
Please do not cheat - it will be obvious if you do and it will spoil the event for everybody.

Why: For poops and giggles
Bring: Racing Boots + Empty Bag Caller (bought from Faruq)

*What Clan Were You In Before? Yes. I was Previously in Anethamatic Beings. After I was in a Warring Clan on p2p that eventaully got over run by trollers. BUt long before that. I was the founder of Rival. I was later kicked from it For my account was hacked by a person close to me who caused treason. So Im looking for a f2p Clan wars clan. Something Thats actively in wars, or war practices. Bettering there skills on the battlefield. When we are not better our skills on the plains of Runescape.
