What can Desire To Skill offer you?


We're an active, dedicated skilling clan founded to inspire a community, to skill,
to learn, and to grow together while building friendships stronger than Godswords, and experiences more valuable than the blue party hat.
Our GOAL is to lead every member of this clan to 99's and 200m+ experience in skills, as well as an account full of wealth, accomplishment, achievement, and satisfaction.
We work to build a skilling clan that is for the players, by the players.

NOTE: We do NOT intend to represent the ideologies that most clans do, of having to maintain an image of order and pestilence, although there are a few rules and requirements in place to ensure the clan is functional; have fun, play hard and make friends.

First and foremost, the most important rules for Desire To Skill are the rules set out by Jagex themselves for the entirety of RuneScape

"The 'Rules of RuneScape' are in place to keep RuneScape safe and - above all - enjoyable."

The RuneScape Rules of Conduct are listed below. The titles and summaries give a good sense of what each entails, and mostly it's just common sense. However, further detail is found in each section, should you need it.

Macroing and third-party software
Real World Trading
Account sharing and buying or selling accounts
Multiple logging-in
Knowingly exploiting a bug
Jagex staff impersonation
Scamming
Unofficial Player Run Games of Chance
Encouraging others to break the rules
Inappropriate language or behaviour
Asking for or providing contact information
Advertising other websites

We expect you to follow and enforce the rules set out by Jagex as members of Desire To Skill. If you or someone you know is aware of a clan member who may be breaking one or several of the Rules of RuneScape, please take the proper action to report the player to a member of the clan's guard, as well as Jagex.

Note: Breaking the rules of either Jagex or Desire To Skill will result in a permanent ban and a flogging.

If you thought that we only expected you to follow the Jagex rules, you thought wrong. We too have rules of our own to maintain a system beneficial for all of us.

We have 11 simple rules you need to follow while you're a part of this clan:

1. Respect - this is a key element of a successful clan. Respect is important not only to your clan mates and admins, but to yourself. You want to be respected in a clan like this because it's how you're going to move up and how you'll find others to participate in various events.

2. Decorum - behaviour in keeping with good taste and propriety. Basically, there's a time and place for everything, be appropriate, respectful and well mannered.

3. Banter - save the banter for the wars, as a clan we need to be working together and helping each other to grow and learn instead of rip at each others throats. Fight the enemy, not each other.

4. Do not spam the CC. Spam is considered the excess repetition of a word, term or phrase.

5. If you have concerns about people in the clan (regarding vulgar behavior, scamming, botting, etc.) feel free to speak to any key-rank about it.

6. If you are asked by ANY clanmate to stop whatever you may be doing (that may be offensive towards ANY clanmate), please do so.

7. Do not crash your clanmates (PvM, Slayer, skilling locations like Hunter/abyss, etc.)

8. Please avoid topics involving religion, politics, or hate speech. Avoid overly vulgar language (racist epithets, sexist terminology, etc.)

9. Keep all CC chat's to English.

10. If a key-rank asks you to speak privately in a pm, please do so immediately to avoid CC drama.

11. Act in a mature way in both clan chat AND when representing your clan outside (at divine locations, in another clan's CC, on forums, etc.)

Dear ApplicantName,

I want to personally extend my thanks for considering us and taking the time to fill out an application.

Because of players like you... the players willing to help others, and work hard to grow their characters; skilling clans everywhere grow prouder by the minute.

I founded this clan with the intention of making RuneScape a friendlier, more giving place and
I wondered what could happen if players gathered by the masses in unison and dedicated themselves to one cause, improvement. Thus, GA was born.

We have lots of great things to offer, like a dedicated, active of players who specialize in skills, war, questing, items, resources, and lore. We also have many players willing to help out with getting hard to find items, or sparing extra gold when it's needed most.

I'm proud to tell you that you've been ACCEPTED into Desire To Skill.

Given to those who have earned at least 500,000 Total experience since joining clan.
Followed all the clan rules since joining the clan. If you have received a minor offence as a Recruit, you must appeal it with an overseer before being promoted to Corporal, even if you have 500,000+ experience.

Given to those who have earned at least 3M Total experience since joining clan.
Followed all the clan rules since joining the clan. If you have received a minor offence as a Corporal, you must appeal it with an overseer or co-owner before being promoted to Sergeant, even if you have 3M+ experience.

----(•Lieutenant Rank)----
Given to those who have earned at least 15M Total experience since joining clan.
Followed all the clan rules since joining the clan. If you have received a minor offence as a Sergeant, you must appeal it with a co-owner before being promoted to Lieutenant, even if you have 15M+ experience.

----(•Captain Rank)----
Given to those who have earned at least 30M Total experience since joining clan.
Followed all the clan rules since joining the clan. If you have received a minor offence as a Lieutenant, you must appeal it with the overseer before being promoted to Captain, even if you have 30M+ experience.

----(•General Rank)----
Given to those who have earned at least 60M Total experience since joining clan.
Followed all the clan rules since joining the clan. If you have received a minor offence as a Captain, you must appeal it with the owner before being promoted to General, even if you have 60M+ experience.

----(•Admin Team)----
Given to those based on merit. If you have received a minor offence as a General, you're ineligible for this.
