Alright, well first off I’d like to say publicly that I’m very impressed by the leader’s approach. They were the only one to actually reach out to me first in game, when I posted a thread about looking for a clan. And then they just patiently went over everything with me.
They were open and honest about every aspect I asked about, even parts where it might have been more beneficial to pad the truth a bit. Very friendly and down to earth and welcoming vibe in general.
Then I came here and was further impressed by the professionalism and structure of a fairly newer clan. Very well done.
And you know what? I was kind of intimidated at first and anxious about meeting a bunch of new people when I was looking for a bigger clan. But to be completely honest, they broke the ice. And with this kind of leadership, I believe this clan can become a heavy hitter and I think I am willing to invest in it.
I know I said I was looking for something different. But even the fact you didn’t get upset and stop talking to me when I said I was looking for something else, sets a good standard for your level of maturity and understanding (you wouldn’t believe how many people will just ghost you when you say you’re not quite interested in what they’re selling).
But I wouldn’t mind helping a smaller and newer clan build up to something bigger. So next time I’m on, I’m gonna guest in the CC, see if the others are just as cool, and then if all goes smoothly, I’d absolutely be willing to join your family. You’ve won me over.
It’s also nice to know that, there are fairly low stakes and expectations if my life gets more busy, then I know I’m always welcome back and won’t feel like I’m disappointing anyone if I become less active for any reason. Not that I’m expecting that to happen, but it has occurred in the past. So I wouldn’t put it past future me.
