Post 1.5. Leadership of Aether, and Avatar Holders
=================

What is Leadership?
The Leadership is a major governing body of KoA that has the authority to propose, discuss and decide all major changes regarding the clan. Everything is decided by vote. Leadership works together to implement any changes passed during their term. The leadership is also responsible for holding weekly meetings, nominating medal recipients, and actively monitoring the Clan chat. Meetings are held every week following the general Clan meeting and focus discussions on recent events and issues within KoA.

Leadership Roles:

-Leader (Gold Key)

-Overseer (Bronze Key)
4 appointed members of the clan that have the longest track record of being active within the clan. They will be expected to help with making decisions, as well as attending clan meetings.

-Coordinator (Gold Badge)
This person oversees all activity in the clan. Jobs of the coordinator include making sure the recruitment forum (this forum thread) is up to date, records who has capped in the citadel every week, actively recruit new members on the forums as well as in-game, help new members with introduction to the clan, guide and help organiser(s) plan events.

-Organiser (Silver Badge)
Organisers plan clan events and host those said events. They help the coordinator if he/she cannot perform their duty. This rank is chosen by the coordinator, and given to members that he/she deems fit.

Leadership has the voting authority to determine:

• Banishments (67%)
• Unbanishments (67%)
• Demotions (67%)
• Expulsions (67%)
• Readmissions (50% or 67%)
• Overriding Grand Elder decisions (67%)
• Medal nominations (50%)
• Decisions at the Grand Elder's discretion (50%)

Avatar Holder
• Required to cap the citadel every week to retain the position. Must be Admin (bronze badge) rank or higher. YOU MUST POST ON THIS THREAD WHEN YOU CAP. (so we can keep track)

Post 1.7. Punishment System
======================

Punishment System:

KoA operates under a 3-strike punishment system. Once you receive 3 strikes, you will be expelled (removed) from the clan. You receive strikes for breaking Clan Laws, which are outlined in the following post. After being expelled from the clan, you may reapply; however, your readmission will be voted on by Leadership. Members with strikes are not able to be in leadership positions until the strikes are removed. If you have strikes, they can be removed with a supermajority (67%) leadership vote.

Clan Laws:

Clan Laws are divided into four groups, with increasing severity: Lesser Offenses, Greater Offenses, Low Treason, and High Treason. Each group of Clan Laws carries varying punishments including warnings, strikes, suspension, demotion, and banishment. A list of Clan Laws are found in Post 1.6.

Post 1.9. Clan Meeting Rules
=================

Clan Meetings are now being held in the Clan Chat only, and will continue until further notice.

Meeting rules will be quickly reviewed before every meeting; however, you should familiarize yourself with these rules before meetings to ensure that no problems are caused.

1. No talking when someone else is talking, even small things like 'lol' or 'sry'.

2. If you want to say something pertinent to what we are discussing, say *hand* once when the leader asks for questions/comments.

3. Say 'done' when you're done talking so that we know when we can respond.

4. PM a leader during the meeting if you have something urgent/irrelevant to say.

5. Don't tell people to shut up or be quiet, as leaders will handle this.

6. Don't interrupt to say you're leaving. (PM a leader if you have to leave)

--If you are found to consistently break these Meeting Rules, then you will first be given a warning to stop. If you continue, you will receive strikes. --

Some of you think meetings are boring, but they are things that we have to get through as a clan. So if you just cooperate and listen to what is being said, then we'll get done faster and with less struggle.

Leadership meeting is held in a determined friend chat of one of the leaders of the clan straight after the clan meeting concludes. Any members in leadership positions who are online are required to attend.
