Hello! Thanks for taking the time to click on over here, we appreciate that your time
means nothing at all and you will dedicate yourself to us!
is very important to you; and as such we'll do our utmost not to take up too much of it.


Over here at RuneScape's Legacy
we work you to the bone, pay you pennies, and take pictures of you at inconvenient moments
we value our members. Joining us, isn't like joining another clan,
it's much worse
it's truly like joining a community.


There are no mandatory events of any kind;
except helping me to bathe once per day
gone are the days of teenagers and their abundance of hours to sink into an MMO.
We're good humoured adults with responsibilities in the real world
although I wish we weren't, sucks to grow up though, right?
and as such, we truly believe that your time is precious.


Okay, enough of the jokes.


So, you're probably wondering 'why should I join you?' and that's as good a place as any to start. RuneScape's Legacy is a clan that is approaching four years old . This means that stability is in our blood and you needn't worry about any closures or kicking sprees.


Drama is at an all time low here with us and everybody's voices are heard. You're not just another member to add to the numbers. You're a Human Being like the rest of us. If you want to talk, you can talk. If you want to hang out and benefit from our three avatars , that's cool too . If you want to contribute to the citadel and get yourself some awesome skill gains, that's (you guessed it) cool too.

If I could choose one word that described us best (well it'd be pretty damn difficult) it'd have to be 'relaxed'. You're free to do whatever you want to do, so long as humility comes naturally to you, then right here is your perfect virtual home.

no physical requirements
to join us. People of all levels, countries and creeds are free to join.

is that people have the emotional and mental fortitude to remain courteous and amicable.

Leaders
' in this clan; only
Administrators
. We believe in
equality
, in this clan, we are all equal, administrators are simply those of us who take on extra responsibility.


So... How do I rank up?


A fantastic question, and one that I certainly appreciate; not everybody is satisfied with simply 'being' in a clan, and advancement is what motivates them. Below will detail how ranking up works in RuneScape's Legacy.


Recruit:
Upon joining.

Corporal:
Upon 1 citadel cap.


After achieving your first promotion,
advancement becomes far less linear
than other clans and there are several ways to rank up. In the next post, I will detail the methods for ranking up after your first cap.

As good house-keeping, I would like to make it abundantly clear, that with each progressive promotion, the requirements that must be met to attain said promotion
are cumulative
. This means, that from Recruit to Sergeant,
you must cap once to become
Corporal, and a
further three times afterwards
to become a Sergeant; making a
total of four caps
.


I think it important to also emphasize that
people can rank up simply by being in the clan
, they needn't do anything at all; if they don't want to. However this (for obvious reasons) takes longer. As aforementioned,
we are all equal and everybody has equal opportunity
. Even if you don't have the time or patience for capping or recruitment,
you can still rank up with us, simply by being a part of our community
.


Sergeant:
Three citadel caps | Three recruited members | Four weeks within the clan.
Lieutenant:
Three citadel caps | Five recruited members | Six weeks within the clan.
Captain:
Four citadel caps | Seven recruited members | Eight weeks within the clan.
General:
Five citadel caps | Ten recruited members | Ten weeks within the clan.

Total time from Recruit to General:

Capping
- Four months.

Recruitment
- One week + 25 members.

Social Participation
- Seven Months.

Admin
- Chosen from pool of Generals.

Organiser
- Chosen from pool of Generals.
