I'm sure this has been requested/suggested many times but I've never actually managed to find what the response to it was. Feel free to link me to the thread were this has been asked or to simply just respond.

Is it possible to make the Avatar Warden rank/job custom to be given to any clan member? If not possible now will it be possible in NXT?

NXT is simply a rewrite of the Java code but in C++ (plus lots of brushing up, polishing etc) - no updates or changes in game content accompany the new client's release. However, things are much better and easier to do in C++ code, and it provides far more depth and potential for future updates and content. By the time the permissions rewrite update arrives anyway, we'd all be using NXT.

I hope that this update is the first thing that arrives with the permissions rewrite, because I'm tired of splitting Admin rank between real Admins and pseudo-Admins (aka simple avatar wardens and not interested in leadership).

I thought Mod Maz had tweeted that she was nearing completion of this idea when she was working on stuff like avatar recall. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Edit: After finding the post on Twitter it seems like avatar permission was not part of the images.

To clear up a whole bunch of misunderstandings on this thread:

- Avatar can only go to those admin+ as clan settings data can only be written to by admin+. It is nothing to do with complexity.
- NXT is a client only and has no effect on the server side engine of the game, which remains Java.
- The Content is written in RuneScript, not C++ or Java.
- The permissions rewrite is not in development as it is too big of a job for Ninja and I have been moved off RS3. Mod Maz
