I'm not sure if this has been suggested before, if so, I do apologise in advance.

THE CONCEPT
: What with the introduction of a Grand Exchange in Prif as well as of course the four booths in Varrock, I do believe it would be a pretty neat idea to implement some sort of Grand Exchange in the Clan Citadel. I don't profess to having thought about the implementation too much, but as a quick suggestion, it could be something made available to clans with Tier 7 Citadels or perhaps some sort of group event hosted by JaGeX in an attempt to increase clan participation whereby everybody who participates earns certain provisions which go towards their clans total supplies collection. Once that special supplies collection hits a certain amount (each member is capped at say 200, and the clan needs 2000, so 10 members to participate) then they can build it. (open to suggestions of course).

THE BENEFIT
: Not only would it boost interest in clans, but it would make the Citadel something more than just a place people visit once a week to cap at. It would I believe also benefit clan unity and spirit in that many members could head there to AFK skill, fletching or whatever by the bank, with a Grand Exchange somewhere to buy in more provisions or whatever, without tediously having to enter and leave the Citadel. Clan members would therefore bond, or so I would hope, being around each other much more.

THE PROBLEM
: There may be complaints about the Grand Exchange in Prif being made redundant, although I find that negligible as the Prif Grand Exchange only served to split the higher skilled community from the lower skilled community. Perhaps coding could be an issue here, again, I don't really know, I'm not a programmer. The only problem I can see right now is the space that would be needed to facilitate it and so the work that the programming team might need to put in, anyways, I look forward to everybody elses thoughts and suggestions.

No. We would not look to add a further Grand Exchange into the game and we would certainly not consider adding it to the Citadel as that would cause two very complicated systems to be reliant on each other and potentially cripple testing on any trade related changes.

I really didnt like them adding an extra GE i still would have preferred one central GE so no support for me.

Adding a GE to the Citadel would probably cause such a massive testing overhead to every release that it would cripple the release schedule. Not something we are going to do. Mod MattHe | Former Community Manager, now in Events & occasional Lore Monkey
