I notice that in among the latest batch of transfers of ownership due to an inactive clan leader, that ownership will be transferred to someone who is currently only ranked Recruit. In this case, it is a very small clan ( of 5 ) and clearly all the other clan members are inactive.

Does this mean that there is hope for clans who do not have an active deputy leader ?

If they are the only active member and there's not a single active person of higher rank than them, then I would support that.

I think the thread should also be updated to mention cases of permanently banned leaders and cases of a dead HCIM that's the leader (which is the situation with my clan). At the moment, it only talks about clan leaders who have left the game.

There are no other players in that Clan - it is not a change we could usually make.

I'm looking for answers about Inactive Clan Leader and I've already posted on a QC 135-136-684-65507718. I'm trying to help a friends clan that I was very close to in real life. He passed away and his clan has active members who want to pay tribute to him by getting their citadel back up as high as they can. Please someone direct me to the correct thread to post on for this and I will let them know. He last played September 15, I know I was in game with him when he passed away.

Hey L M Jane,

I'm really sorry to hear about your friend who passed away, may he rest in peace, my thoughts and prayers to his friends and family.

In regards to changing clan leader, all you can do is post on the inactive clan leader thread which you have done, Mod Poerkie will look at it as soon as he can. Currently hes the only person CM wise we have and hes doing all these jobs himself. I have poked him and given him a list of things which need his attention.

In addition your friends clan's deputy would need to post on the thread as well since thats part of the criteria.

If you need help or advice can contact me ingame or on discord.

Thank you Ignore List, it's been truly hard on them and our clan as we were like sister clans. Yes it is two of his Deputy Owners, one of which is a Pmod that will most likely be posting on there. I was just trying to find out anything I could for them to make it easier. I will have him post on that other thread the info they have. We are all also concerned wanting to make sure that they don't kick the leaders account out of the clan in order to move the one Deputy Owner made into the new clan leader. It's truly been a big loss to a lot on our world.
