Hey There! New to this section of the forums. Thought I would take a few minutes and introduce myself: *•.,¸¸¸,.•*°*• Clan: [Rift] *•.,¸¸¸,.•*°*•

1) Do you see yourself as the most important person of the clan?

No, I don't. I like to think I'm a big part and one of the central figures, but I could never run a clan alone. No single person truly embodies Rift and no single person is the most important.


2) Have you ever kicked a person from your clan that you considered as a personal friend?

Kicked? No, Deranked? Yes. I found out very early that good friends don't always make good leaders. I had to remove my first Dep which was very difficult but needed.


3) Are you able to control your anger when a member does something very wrong?

Yes. (Because I don't get angry) Part of leading is taking responsibility for the errors of those committed under you. We all make mistakes, I would rather keep a good officer and coach them on how to do better than kick them to the curb.


4) Do you rank up people fast?

I did at first. But now the process takes 4 months to gain a rankup. We used a system a lot like "Maxed" Clan.


5) Do you talk with members using other sites/ programmes? (aka skype, facebook etc.)

All the time. Some of my best friends have came from RS. People like to say it's just a game but after interacting with someone for months it becomes a solid friendship.


6) Have you ever considered quitting your clan?

Never


7) Do you discuss clan problems with the whole clan and not only with the high ranked members?

Yes, but not as much as I would like to.


8) Have you ever had a dream about your clan?

Yes. Hopefully I'm not the only one...


9) Do you think your clan is the best clan in RuneScape?

Do I love my clan? Yes. Do I think we are the best? Not yet. Ask me again in 6 months.

10) Does your clan stop you from playing other games?

No. I am a one game person. It flips every now and then between Guild Wars and RS. But as GW went inactive I don't really see myself going back.


11) Would you ever join a clan again as a recruit?

I guess there's a chance. I don't mind stepping back and letting others lead. Rather if I see myself ever going inactive I would promote one of my deps to leader.


12) Do you doubt on your abilities as clan leader from time to time?

I don't doubt myself but I do a lot of self-reflection. I know I still make mistakes so I always try to work on my perspective and grow as a person and a leader.


13) Do you attend all the events your clan has in a week?

No, I work 10 hour days so I physically can't attend all of them.


15) Are you happy with your clan as it is now?

Am I happy with the clan? Absolutely. Am I satisfied? We're not in the top 25 just yet...

Good luck on becoming Top 25, it's not for the faint of heart!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend, I managed to eek out 10.25M total xp (9.2M Summoning XP, 1.05M Divination). Not too bad for only playing 18h total, but I wish I had more double xps! Our clan gained quite a bit of XP, and it was nice seeing so many of our clannies on at the same time.

What did everyone else end up doing? Leader of the Slayer Nest . Join us today!

Hi H USa, welcome to the CLF! :)

Nice Hop a, over 10 mill XP, that's pretty good indeed. :D I got some Fishing and Herblore XP, with some Farming mixed in between too. ^_^

I really enjoyed the weekend and I think it was a huge success, as far as the charity work, the live stream, and the bonus XP. I hope such an awesome event might happen again in future years! :)

Welcome to the CLF H USA! Good luck on reaching 25th!

The weekend was wonderful and as I have said before, I love watching the clan chat during these weekends. You feel the intense concentration as the chat goes silent. Then someone will level and grats flood the chat...and then silence again. As new players as questions on where to find things as they level up, clanmates dive in to help. In spite of intense silence, this is a real clan bonding experience.

Today, those that came close to 99s will get them and we will have a 99 parade as we follow folks to get capes. Then tonight a bit house party to celebrate all the levels gained and decompress from the weekend.

I hope you all have as great a time as we did. This is truly a time to come together for us!
