I think their "new thing" would work! the floating roof even protects against rain! ... sort of. At least I think that's a floating roof...

What if it's really windy, the rain would fall on an angle straight into the building ;)

Ah that's where the "sort of" comes in :P of course the builders aren't liable for any of that happening ;)
