Best of luck on the road to recovery, Ghia. :) I had surgery on May 15, and I had the same experience! One second they're telling you, "We'll inject the anesthetic through your IV, you won't feel a thing," and wheeling you into the operating room and then BAM! You're out.
Take things slow and enjoy your down time! ^_^ <3

I took the picture after the surgery, I vaguley remember doing it. There is a few pictures on my phone, one of my doctor, I wonder if I knew what I was doing .. >.> But I uploaded it on FB with text and all so I was not too out. I don't remember getting into the "recovery" room or talking to doctor after. Only my adoptive mum will be able to tell (you can see her foot lol).
I remember when they first hooked up my heart rate machine and the beeping was really fast because I was nervous. The doctor put the needle in and he talked to me and I'd answer. I remember I wanted to "stay awake" to be able to tell when I fell asleep and last thing I remember is us talking about my car. I had my eyes closed all the time which probably was a bad idea, makes it harder to say when I fell asleep but I have an idea :p
Next thing I remember clear is me at home asking about the prescription, and the next thing I remember clear is me in bed getting a milkshake. After that it's all good.
Today I'm still very tired but the pain is ok, I think most of it comes from the infection which I still take meds for.

Awww, Ghia :( Hope you are feeling better soon (I guess if the pain is getting better you're on the way there).
I too got some needles today... 4 to be precise. God damn they hurt.
