I hope there are a lot of corners in this lounge. I'd also be curled up in a corner, in a beanbag chair, reading a book, waiting for the daily cookie delivery. RSC - Gone, but never forgotten.

I see the Clan Leader lounge as being similar to the room of requirement from the Harry Potter books/ films, where it adapts depending on your needs. So in response to Leta, it has as many corners as we need :P

With regards to books, I'm currently reading A Game of Thrones, after becoming very interested in the TV series. I'm always interested in Fantasy novels. :P

I feel like the Clan Leader Lounge would be an empty room with a crown placed at the center of the room.

The objective would be to whoever can retrieve the crown first. The winner would win bragging rights of having the best clan in Runescape!

At first, we all would think this idea to be silly and dumb but as we all start gazing at that razzle dazzle crown that contains diamonds that sparkle effortlessly. We become obesses with the crown and start to envy it.

One person would make a step towards the crown and the other clan leader would make a step forward. The first person who made the step forward would back up. Then, a never ending stalemate would occur. People would start grinning and scruntizing others.

A fight would occur with two clan leaders on whose clan is the better one but this isn't a fight dealing with dragon scimitars or abyssal whips, this is a fight with verbal profanity and a definite uproar among us. As they start bashing at each other, others would pursue this contagious conversation. 2 people became 4 as 4 became 8 and as soon you blinked not even a second, it became 64. The insults would get worse and you could swear that your mommy would of put soap in your mouth if she ever heard you saying this.

Things would get too out of control that the beloved Clan Leader Lounge that everyone talks about containing virtual cookies, popcorn and fun entertainment. Would just be a room filled with leaders of all ages with straight jackets put on them.

Remember that crown in the middle I said, no one ever retrieved it but some werid old man eventually did. He called himself a J-Mod.

I'm into fantasy too - massive LOTR fan :) Although I like to read just about anything...

There's an interesting little book called Epic by Konor Kostick - have any of you ever come across it?

@Belief - imo crime is better watched ;) You get more of the action

@Coffee - take a holiday =P

Speaking of reading I gave two massive books to my uncle at christmas because I knew I wouldn't have time to read them due to exams/ assignments.

But with my last exam on Wed I must remember to pick them up 1Q84 by Murukami.
I started reading some of his books about 2-3 years ago and they are really good (although they do tend to become incoherent near the end in many cases).
He is somewhere between Hemmingway, Bret Eastern Ellis and Donna Tart.
He kind of has a descriptive style reminiscent of rules of attraction, with the mystic of the Secret History and narrative which just feels like Fiesta the Sun also Rises.
His stories really tend to pull you in and are very quirky.

Aside from my favourite fiction writers I have read an inordinate amount of Sci-Fi and fantasy since I was small, my dad was an absolute Heinlein Nerd literally all his books strewn around the host as well as some Asimov.
The number of the beast, the moon is a harsh mistress and the cat who walked through walls being three of my absolute favourite Heinlein also as authors go I find he is surprisingly easy to read and I can quite effortlessly sit down with a Heinlein and finish it in one sitting without realizing time is passing.

But yes unfortunately most of my reading this year has been of Law reform commission reports or Judgements so roll on the summer so I can no life 1Q84 and a few other books.
