As the title stats, this is regarding a clan member that has passed away recently. Though we may not know one another outside of RuneScape, myself, along with quite a few fellow clan mates have found it tough. That being said, I am looking for ways to remember our passing friend.

Here are some things we've already considered/done:

- Added a commonly used catch phrase/saying to our clans login broadcast.

- Added his name to our clan page bio and recruitment thread with 'Rest easy' so that he will be remembered.

- Assigned him with the 'Honour Knight' job title.

- Planning to build a fountain at our Citadel as a memorial just for him (unfortunately no plaques can be added to the fountain).

- Planning to have an annual meeting in his memory.

What are some other things we can do to honour our passing friend?

Thanks in advance

I am very sorry to hear about your friend Robb, and even though it may just be a game it is very special to make bonds with people that reach beyond the world of runescape. These are all beautiful ways to remember your friend and I do have one idea. In your discord maybe dedicate a channel to them where you and your members can write something in their memory, be it something they did with them once, a bit about their personality or whatever comes to mind. If you have someone artistic in the clan maybe they can create a piece dedicated to them and that channel. :) <3

Gone, but never forgotten. Rest easy, Raveaxe (Brody).

Thank you so much for the wonderful response, Jedase! I'll definitely be using your idea as it is a great way for everyone to honour him for the amazing guy he was. I'll be taking a screenshot of your response so the whole clan can see it.

Thanks again, Jedase! :)

Sorry for your clans loss Robb it is hard runescape is such a massive part of our lives and we meet great people.
I love the memorial Ideas we had a clan member die 2018 was a sad time he was/is very much loved, a few met him at Runefest.
We made a discord channel dedicated to him as well.
He's also got a little star by his name on Runeclan :D

Hey, Sorry for your loss.

We added our passed clannie into our bio on the runescape page, I don't really support Jagex adding something special for people dying, just because that is something which should stay in the real world and not interfere with the game.

This can play with peoples emotions, people login to escape the real world, not to feel depressed by looking at passed members dying.

People will refuse to visit citadel if we start having plagues in clan members names who passed, it wouldn't be appealing to most.
