yes makes sense. we don't really do anything in here anymore apropos future updates has mainly become a clan leader support hang out so why exclude osrs?

just need a mod lol.

OSRS Multi - PvP has only seen updates that take away from them and given to singles PvP. Limiting CLF access based on 30+ would likely result in only a handful. Wildy active groups are shrinking in size.

I'd love to have fair game-play via an OSRS official client that is downloaded from the Jagex site.

For one, clans don't work the same on 07 as they do on RS3. For another, they're basically their own separate game. If anything, under their forums they should have their own CLF. Like nobody playing there would have anything of value to contribute in this forum section and vice versa, but I'll also admit just a personal dislike involving any inclusion of 07 players on anything RS3 related.
For the few who run both 07 and RS3 clans, then if 07 had their own private CLF, one could go there to discuss their 07 "clan."

In terms of structures, the majority of RuneScape clans are either community, pvm, pvp or skilling based, many specialized in things like minigames or certain activities and others more like social groups where their members and guests typically chat more than do events.

The new in-game clan chat systems we have in OSRS and RS3 may be different, but keep in mind that clans existed in RuneScape long before these "clan systems" were added to the game. If Jagex removed these "clan tools" tomorrow, well established organized clans would survive without them in the same way many clans died after they were added.

Then again, I don't care about having a CLF to talk about clan tools. Jagex will update the game adding and removing features however they feel like it regardless of what players want or don't want. And we're already using the CLD to discuss RS3 clan features.

With that said, what I'd like to see if Community Management JMods engaging with Clan Leaders to discuss things like hosting community events and opening discussions about how we run our clans so they can better understand what happens in their game.

A good example of proper community management is what the Invision Community team members have done posting monthly blogs and weekly forum threads asking clients what we do with our communities.

I stopped caring what game we played with our members in 2013. In 2020, many clans also played other games like Among Us with their members.

Some clans still operate on Friends Chats which are on both games.

Jagex talks a lot about diversity in this game, but they still hold onto medieval ways of thinking in terms of inclusion. I feel like vomiting every time I read things like "English only". And I feel the same way about "RS3 only" when there is zero support for OSRS in this game. O_o

I'd rather see Jagex let all RuneScape Clan Leaders into the CLF and we could open a new category within the CLD for OSRS. But in the meantime, it's nice to hope watching the grass grow as we wait for Jagex to leave a comment.
