This thread will cover everything you need to know about the Clan Leader Forum (CLF) including its rules which need to be followed while you have access.

What is the Clan Leader Forum?:

The Clan Leader Forum is a hidden forum section giving experienced RuneScape 3 clans direct contact with the Community Management team who support RuneScape 3.

This Forum allows clan to speak to us freely and openly about clan specific topics which helps us support you better by understanding what support the Clan Community wants and needs. In addition it allows clan leaders to come together to network with each other, share tips/ideas/solutions and build friendships and strengthen clan communities!

What is a Legacy Leader?:

Legacy Leaders are ex-Clan Leaders who were given access to the Clan Leader Forums in the past through a clan they are no longer in but still have access to this forum. We have allowed these ex-Leaders to stay in CLF under the term “Legacy Leader” so they can continue to share their past experiences and knowledge in leading clans. Community Manager! @JagexPoerkie

Rules for the Clan Leader Forum:

The Clan Leader Forum has had a relaxed environment since it’s creation and nothing has changed with these rules being posted. These will be common sense to everyone here but we feel it's worth having them posted so everyone old and new can see them and know what is expected.

Leaking Information:

All information and discussion within the Clan Leader Forums are confidential and not to be shared outside of the Clan Leader Forum unless otherwise specifically stated by a Jagex Moderator. Anyone found to be leaking information outside of the Clan Leader Forum will have both their access and their other clan representative’s Clan Leader Forum access removed.

Instigating Conflicts:

If you attack a fellow Clan Leader or another Clan in the Clan Leader Forum, both you and your other clan representative will have your Clan Leader Forum access removed. There will be no warnings.

Hate Speech:

It goes without saying but any form of hate speech attacking an individual or a group of people based on their:

Sexual Orientation,

Race,

Ethnicity,

Nationality,

-

Religion,

-

Sex,

-

Gender,

-

Disability,

Will be dealt with harshly. We will not tolerate this kind of behaviour in our game or forums. As you are all Clan Leaders, we expect this to never happen. Any instances of this will result in an immediate removal of your Clan Leader Forum access and can lead to a temporary or permanent forum ban.

Naming and Shaming:

Any form of Naming and Shaming in terms of pictures or forum posts in the Clan Leader Forum will be removed! Continuation of this behavior will lead to the removal of your Clan Leader Forum access.

Using Links:

As everyone within this forum is a Clan Leader, we have allowed you to share links to other websites. However, if anyone is found to be sharing offensive links/pictures containing anything Not Safe for Work or links intending to cause harm, you will have your Clan Leader Forum access removed. Depending on the level of severity, you may also be temporarily or permanently banned from the RuneScape forums as a whole and may have an in-game offence applied.

is not responsible for any links posted in the Clan Leader Forum. You are responsible for your own safety and are advised to have anti-virus and malware protection software. For more information check out the Security Software support page.

Derailing Threads:

Thread Creators make their threads for discussions regarding a particular topic, as such the conversation on the thread needs to remain on that subject. Anyone found to be derailing a thread will have their posts hidden. Continued behaviour of this nature will result in your removal from the Clan Leader Forum.

Grave Bumping Threads:

Please do not post on threads older than 1 year without good reason. (Check the date below the last post on the thread). This ensures threads at the top of the list are still useful and relevant, as posting on older threads sends/bumps it to the top and may contain outdated information. Threads that have been Grave Bumped may be locked to prevent further posting. If you wish to discuss the same topic please create a new thread and reference/link the old thread and create a discussion on the new thread.

Spamming:

Do not spam on threads. Spamming on threads will result in posts being hidden, continued behavior will result in your removal from the Clan Leader Forum.

Burying Threads:

Do not post on several threads with the intention to ‘bury’ a thread. If you are found to be doing this you will have your clan leader forum access removed.

Clan Topics:

The Clan Leader Forum was designed and created for all things related to RS3 Clans. All thread topics need to be about clan updates/ideas/suggestions/issues or asking fellow clan leaders for advice and support. This forum section should not be used to discuss bans/mutes/hacked accounts. Please use the ‘Leaders Lounge’ thread for all non clan topic discussions.

Moderating the Clan Leader Forum:

We trust each and every one of you to not break any rules and cause any issues for your fellow Clan Leaders on the Clan Leader Forum. If there are serious issues, please raise them using the Flag A Concern thread.

In cases where immediate attention is needed, post on the Forum Help V2. thread which will let the

know about the situation so they can take action. Please also post on the Flag A Concern thread so we can look into the situation as well.

Are Forum Moderators allowed to moderate the Clan Leader Forum?

The Clan Leader Forum is a lot more relaxed compared to the rest of the RuneScape forum, Forum Moderators will keep an eye to ensure the Clan Leader Forum section remains conflict free and carry out general forum maintenance.

I need Account / Billing / Technical help what do I do?

A:

If you or someone else needs support for an Account (Hacked/Muted/Banned) / Billing (Charged for no reason/Missing RuneCoins/Missing Bonds) / Technical (Black Screen/Lag/Client Crashes) issues, please do try the following:

Search the issue in the Support Centre .

2)

Post in the appropriate ‘Community Support’ forum. ( Account Support , Billing Support , Technical Support )
