Clan color differences?

I've noticed this for a while but it's starting to bother me.
The clan flag that shows on the forum for my clan does not accurately represent the colors we chose in game.
On the forum, it shows as a dark blue, with white trim.
In game, we chose the colors as the dark blue, with lighter blue symbols and trimming.
The ONLY thing that accurately portrays the chosen colors is our clan vex.
The clan cloak looks black with a quite different shade of light blue.

My point is, the forum flag, the clan cloak and the Vex are all different colors and I'm wondering what's with that?

Well thank you. very helpful. but I was actually hoping there was an explanation why and or if the problem could be fixed

It's not like its barely off

I picked Dark blue and light blue

The forum shows dark blue and White

The cloak shows black and a completely different shade of light blue

I could ask, why are there color options at all if they don't even work properly

Your windows colors don't represent my clan

Ah, yeah I see what you mean, the lighter blue definitely does look lighter on the banner than on the vex and cloak.

(And yeah you can post links/pictures here since it's a specialist/private forum :) )

Our clan has a similar problem - our cloaks and website image are consistent, but the blue on our Vexillum is substantially lighter. I'm assuming this has been a long standing glitch, because it does on occasion correct itself. @Lisaa_RS - Followed by @Runescape

Our clan colours are pale blue and pale pink - the cloak and the vexillum are perfect. but the flag on the website shows nothing like it. It has always been that way, and I just stop noticing now. It gives people ( what I hope is a pleasant ) surprise when they actually see the cloak/vex.
