how to change clan owner?

Our clan owner is taking a break and she would like to pass the gold key to a deputy owner but she does not know how to do it.

Can somebody help please?

She should derank all deputies other than the one she intends to transfer ownership to. When there is only one deputy owner (the person who will be the new owner) the current owner can save her own rank as something else and it gives a prompt about transferring ownership. When she confirms it will save her rank as whatever she chose and put the deputy owner as owner rank. If there are multiple deputies then ownership transfers to the deputy that has been in the clan the longest. Therefore, in order to assure a specific person gets made the new owner, it is wise to derank all other deputy owners and let the new owner restore ranks after ownership has been transferred.

oh ty. nothing changed then. I remember this was how it used to be done but thought some new sensible system had been added. Silly me.

Hey she can do this by setting her owner rank as an overseer, and then one of the Deputys will become the leader, The one who has been in the clan the longest, so if she wants someone specific she would have to derank the other deputy owners while doing the change.
