FYI, there were 3 votes in June that you posted on behalf of others Macka.

3 votes which I could not register on because you have me blocked in a Discord server which you are an admin in.

Depending on how many other people you have blocked, who knows how skewed the vote results actually are.

I would suggest you do not post on behalf of others. Let the people post the votes themselves or get another admin to post the votes.

This.....is actually very disturbing, in more ways than one.

Blocking members of the server is extremely unprofessional. As people who are running a major Discord server, they shouldn't have anyone in the Discord blocked, period. As leaders of the server, they should be listening to people's complaints and critical feedback, but instead they're blocking people who they dislike. It's an immature and unprofessional way to handle things.

Now let's move onto the next issue: Censorship . CLD has routinely made a habit of censoring people they dislike, and this situation is no different. How many other people have the staffed blocked? Are they simply blocking anyone they dislike? This creates unfairness in polling ideas. If the CLD staff wanted to force an idea of theirs, they could simply block anyone they think would disagree with them. Easier still, they could just remove the downvotes - who would know the difference?!

I've never seen a Discord server run so unprofessionally, while still being allowed in charge of such an important focus as in-game content. P.U.R.G.E. Captain |

I must say I'm highly disappointed that you have not addressed the issue of votes in the CLD.
A response from you on this matter would be greatly appreciated. :)

As I pointed out a week ago, the voting system in CLD is currently flawed in that if someone that posts a vote has anyone in the server blocked, they effectively suppress any voting action taken by said blocked members.

I have seen a couple of suggestions in the CLD as to how to go about rectifying this, and it is great to see others trying to help. But nothing is effective as yet. One of the ideas was tried, but doesn't seem to be working well from what I've seen.

The best suggestion I have come up with is that any CLD members which have anyone in the server blocked should not be allowed to post voting ideas but would instead need to pass them off to an unbiased representative of the CLD to post.

Forgive my memory, but I seem to recall the "CLC" server had some sort of "polling bot" at some point? It had voting options for yes, maybe/neutral, and no.

I also know that the "Cygrid" bot, which is developed by a RuneScape player and used in the official RS Discord, has polling capabilities. Theoretically this would completely resolve any issue with people blocking each other. @Lisaa_RS - Followed by @Runescape

Hello Lyrehca,
As we have already responded/addressed in CLD, we have been actively working on solutions that are fair to every party involved. A temporary solution was set in place the day this concern was brought up, and a bot feature has since been added to make the process easier. The end result we are looking for allows everybody in the CLD to be able to vote on ideas, whether or not they are blocked while also respecting the right of every individual to have another individual blocked.
