Hey guys,

Some of you who are in CLD probably already know, but lately I've started working on a Discord server for friendly PvP fights in Clan Wars. The server is holding its first Purple Portal event this Saturday, and I'd really love it if you and your clans could turn up to make the event more exciting and lively.

There's the link for the Discord server. You and your clanmates who are interested in attending will need to join the server to be able to take part in the event (feel free to share the invite with anyone) .

Here's some of the details to know if the time will work for you - meetup info and specific fight information can be found on the server.

2pm EST - 7pm GMT (19:00 game time)

How it works:
People taking part in the event will be split up into two teams: Red Team Capes and Blue Team Capes. To join the group, people will need to use the command "?red" or "?blue" on the server to be placed in that group. This will give the person access to that group's specific channels - a text chat and a voicechat (both optional). The server will have at least two "Group leaders" at the event, one for each group. The Group leader is the person whose FC people join for the Purple Portal fight. If there are any conflicts, the server will have "Quartermasters" (server staff) at the event to resolve any issues.

Please note:
• The server and its events are meant to create a fun, friendly environment. Trash-talking, targeting, drama, and offensive language - from anyone - won't be tolerated.

• This is the server's first event, so this is very much a practice run. There may be some issues which we hope to iron out as they pop up, to make future events more fun for everyone.

We'll see how many people turn up to the event. After they get settled into their groups, we'll use Quick Chat to see how many people are in the Group Leaders' Friends Chats, and have people change groups from there as needed. @Lisaa_RS - Followed by @Runescape

Would future occasions of this event involve CLF clans only? Or would you be moving this event to Clan Central to open it up to all clans? It isn't going to be restricted to clans or CLF in the long-term. In the future, I plan on making the server go completely public - advertising on Reddit, partnering with other community servers, etc... That's why I told CLFers they could invite anyone they wanted to the server. I wanted to trial the first event with a community that I knew would be supportive and wouldn't create toxicity at the event, so I asked CLFers to come to the first event. @Lisaa_RS - Followed by @Runescape
