'Alternate account' Clan job.

I'm not sure about most clans, but in many clans (mine included) alternate accounts don't get ranked up. This is simple to keep track for someone like myself, who knows the ins and outs of each account within my clan, but not all of my admin team will know that a certain account is an alt, which can result in those accounts getting wrongly promoted, causing unnecessary work.

So I am here to suggest that a new job of 'Alternate account' or 'Alternative account' or something along those lines be added to the clan job list, just to make the day to day running of our clans slightly easier.

I can understand your reasoning behind this but it's not hard to track alternate accounts if your team manages the clan well.

I treat the alternate account usually the same rank as the main account if it is an admin+

I don't mind seeing this addition.

Does anyone really use Jobs?
I would love to, but I have all my Clanmates set to Avatar Warden.

While we wait on Jagex, you could just use one of the existing jobs like:
- Adventurer
- Honorary Clanmate
- Inactive Clanmate
- Monk
- Retired
- Scout
Really any of those would fit for "Alt Account".

I try to get mains to say alts in forums but most alts have something in name that links them

Ive always said its not the account thats ranked but the players

We use Honorary for members that are inactive but we never want to remove from the clan.
Inactive for well, inactive members, also use retired for inactive members that aren't ranked recruit.

I'll discuss it at my clans monthly admin meeting as to if we can use another job in the interim.

Since we have a ranking system based on clan citadel resources, clan points (from events and stuff like that) and clan xp. It is tricky.

What we do is that people can say if they have an alt in our clan on our forum and then we take that in account in our ranking system.

We do count the highest of each catogorie for the rank, and what rank that person gets, he gets that on both accounts. (SO we don't add it up).

Example:

Main has: 20M clan xp, 10k citadel resources, 20 clan points.
Alt has: 10M clan xp, 20K cita resources, 10 clan points.

^ That person has then 20M clan xp, 20k cita resources and 20 clan points we take in account. Ceecs - leader of Ceecs Clan

I think jobs need a rework in general.. All but 1 are completely useless, and it's difficult to find their job without opening the clan interface, clicking on someone, waiting for it to load and then looking. And let's be honest, whose going to do that?
I think a nice addition, although I don't know how doable this would be, would be if you could have a title based on your job (although in this case I think Avatar Warden would have to be removed, as is planned in the avatar rework). MrBrokenBow - Former Leader and Founder of
