Clan Tools


Hi all,

A few of you may know me under a few different names; Leader_Rob, Coop Slayer or now even Clan Tools.

I am the head developer of a new third party website that myself and other clan minded people will be looking to start developing over the next few months.

So I wanted to introduce myself and my team a few who you may already know.

I am Rob, head website developer of Clan Tools. I will be overseeing the development of the project and driving the progress of it.

I am a third year web design and development university student studying in the Lancashire area. I have been involved within Runescape clans for the last decade and also pushed for Jagex contribution towards the development clan system.

I am also known for founding the Clan Leader discord server that now has over 250 representatives and over 150 clans.

throughout this project we will be taking your opinions on board providing that all opinions and feedback are constructive.

To gather the most feedback we can we have also set up a discord server for the clan tools project which we will use to acquire feedback alongside the Clan Leader Forums and the Clan Leader Discord.

I hope many of you are as excited as we are about this project for the sake of what it could be and what it could mean to clan administration/community within two years time.

At the current time we are still in early development but hope that you will continue to support us as we bring out one feature at a time that will ultimately make the running of clan management from day-to-day a lot easier.

i support this, about damn time too, since Jagex pulled an Elder God in this situation forgot about us a bit after creating us.. Moe

I'm really looking forward to seeing this project progress.

There's a lot of duplication of efforts out there, with clans pulling together their own solutions to use in their own isolated clan context, undoubtedly all setting out to achieve the same basic goals. This project is a great step in the right direction to providing one unified service for everyone to benefit from.

I hope that Jagex can offer their support by way of making APIs accessible to allow the project to truly flourish, as it's a great opportunity to make the most of a dedicated team who are willing to put in so much work for a shared toolset which will benefit so many leaders. Join
