Any answer as to whether skillchompas will be a banned item?
I think these should stay, same for things like urns, because these are not buyable with rl cash or a luck based drop, and anyone can purchase or collect these.
true but you could buy a bond which you can sell that will allow you to stack up on them, just trying to make sure this competition cant be bought

By that logic you could buy a bond and purchase a myriad of skilling supplies and any skill could be impacted.
Do we exclude Priff because 'not everyone can access this course'? Do we exclude skill gear such as the agility outfit? Do we exclude mint cakes and potions that boost the agility level or items like the God Banner?
I understand the goal is fairness, but when you go so far as to make it fair, they may as well bring back the Olympic style course or just make the sessions only count if you run circles in Burthrope. There has to be a line.
Let us use Skillchompas. They can be gifted to you, purchased, or hunted yourself.

In a word:
YES
In a lot of words:
That was how the first skills cups in the clan cup were run. Bass XP only. Any item that boosted xp in any way was banned. No bonus xp counted. Also all 'Buyable' Skills were excluded. So no herblore, smithing, prayer etc. It was only gatherer skills like Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, Agility etc. When Jagex started allowing boosting items a few years later it ruined the skills cup imho. I guess they did sell a few more spins on the squeal though with people trying to get silverhawks etc.
There are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.
posting this here as the information is obviously not leaving clan leader discord and I am assuming that CLD Staff have forgotten about posting it. It is unlikely that the clan cup will be in 2018. below is a screenshot confirmation by Mod Shauny.
