I was thinking more of a leader posted thread explaining the updates, rather than a J-mod thread. Any of the leaders in CLF could make the thread, I'd think. Preferably someone with good communication skills, able to break down the update for the average clannie to understand how the benefits of said update.

Well i dont see this as understandable and often share whats been said on CLF to get other peoples opinions, ive seen this mentioned before and i dont see why its a thing.

We haven't had an issue with this. We have a news channel on Discord where we link the release notes. We also throw in the quick highlights for the tl:dr crew. Not just for clan updates but for all updates that people should know about.

Most in the clan realize that after an update has been put in, there isn't a whole lot that can be done about it, so we don't get into much of the 'Why did they have to do that?'

Usually any follow up from clannies is just posted up in general for discussion or we chat about it in game. Owner Scape Artists Clan Recruitment Thread

Personally, I'm usually sharing things that are already said on CLF or one of the clan leader discords with my clan for the very reasons you're mentioning. It's confusing about clan updates and why they would/would not come. For many, they're wondering why a change did or did not happen and have to resort to asking on Discord/ingame to get any kind of feedback as to why.

Since I've been much more open about sharing and communicating things as they're ongoing, including things like Shauny's ideas for updates, people are able to understand and give much better feedback on their side as well. I don't like having separate sides or feeling like information that pertains to and effects everyone in the clan should be held back. It's one thing if the changes are purely impacting us as leaders, but the majority go well beyond us.

If there was some way that Jagex/a Jmod could better communicate that, it would help too. A line in the patch notes often does not really say what a change does or why - which is fine for many of them, but others the additional detail would be welcome. But I've kind of taken on that role for our clan, as it sounds like many of you have expressed as well. I'm in no condition to post. Wait a minute - I don't have to listen to myself! I'm drunk

Even today, another clan leader messaged asking other clan leaders what happened to the citadel upkeep and if it was permanent wanting the information on what all it effects for their clan. I'm just saying there seems to be a lack of communications on some things. I would like to be able to improve them.

Even if I'm meant to be liaison about the information between my clan and Jagex, I have a tough time doing that if the information is not collected into one location or don't know how to explain the update.

As for the CLF sharing, I meant it is understandable because of the CLF "Specific Rules," which maybe are out dated, but that is a different topic all together. /\
