Craziness: It goes with the territory of running a clan. Maybe we're all a bit crazy even - after all, what sane person would voluntarily manage hundreds of people online for no personal benefit? Anyway, we've all been crazy clan leaders for a long time, and consequently have seen some pretty crazy stuff when running our respective clans. From dumb reasons why people have left, to weird love triangles between clannies, to somebody's inexplicable rage over the arrangement of citadel flowers.

We've been around for a long time, seen a lot of things (indeed, things we probably wish we hadn't seen), and been through a lot. And yet, many of those things are never talked about again after they're over. We really just don't see a lot of clan leaders telling entertaining stories about things that happened over the years, and we especially don't see them swapping notes on who has had the craziest ex-clannie. So I guess....this is our group therapy for that? O_o

So go on! Talk about the weirdest situations you've dealt with in your clan, as the leader of it. Rehash the buried past, entertain your colleagues here with stories about Justin's chicken obsession, or that guy's embarrassing "wrong chat" in your CC. Let's hear some of those weird-ass stories! In essence:

Had one guy who joined clan and discord, got on voice and he could play like an electronic piano so naturally we asked him to play sea shanty which he tried but just found it hard and didn't like it. Of course following that the lads are like "play us some sea shanty" he eventually got so wound up over a song request and left clan reason: sea shanty. :')

Gather around the fire because I've got a tale.

This one goes way back to around 2012

Back in an old clan, our leader at the time seemingly got hacked according to him. He was always saying hi and being talkative. If he wasn't feeling well for whatever reason, he'd say it and not keep it to himself. But this time not a single word.

He was in the citadel with us and walking around looking like he had no idea what he was doing. He suddenly kicked several members, including a co-owner who had suspicions already. The account logged out soon after.

Our clan forum at the time that was full of threads was completely emptied...except one. The one thread that was up only had a period as the title. Upon opening, it said, "LTKING WAS HERE".

When the leader got his account back and we told him what had happened, he explained "LTKing" was someone he was close with once upon a time, but had a bad falling out later on.

I've since then had my own suspicions about the legitimacy of everything that happened that evening. But regardless, it does make for a good campfire story!
