"The" clan was created in a game named Cyber Wars, they moved over to RuneScape when it became public in 2001. Pared with Sabres they're the oldest clans RuneScape has/had. A couple of months later the clan BlacKnights opened, but they turned into a community in 2011.

Far before the clan chats were made, clans were already official and recognized, but they used different platforms to display their memberlists (usually runehead or other offsites). I'm not sure why you put clans between quotation marks, it seems quite disrespectful.

It's an old Jagex game, not your treehouse. If a clan migrates to a different game (for example Cyber Wars -> RS Classic, or RS3 <-> OSRS) their founding date doesn't change.

It's an old Jagex game, not your treehouse. If a clan migrates to a different game (for example Cyber Wars -> RS Classic, or RS3 <-> OSRS) their founding date doesn't change.
