I've been wanting this for a long time. The party room on the second floor would be even better if you could make a Falador Drop Party Room type chest in it. At the moment if clan's have drop parties we have to keep rebanking and dropping around ourselves. It would be much easier and much more convenient if you put a bank chest and drop party chest inside the party room upstairs. (Kick the balloons for the prize)

This suggestion has been made many times, both in threads for that, or in feedback in other threads. We all want it. Here was one answer:

The problem is not so much complex code (altho it is a problem). It's the 448 map squares that need changing and then testing. As you can imagine, that's a lot of work!

There have also been suggestions to be able to toggle decorations there to make it like an old castle with stone tiles, or different shades of stone tiles on the floor.

It is also been suggested that perhaps it could be made in to a banquet room, or the ability to toggle that.

The thing you come back to again and again with changing anything in the citadel is the almost total rewrite of that portion of the game and I believe it was said that was the second biggest programming update the game has had. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

It boils down to our Community Mods only have so much time to devote to redesign, or to following through with other departments that would have to be brought in to make the changes. So with it taking that much programming time (from the basic programming, to the graphics to the multiple maps that would need to be done), it is not likely to happen any time soon.

EDIT: I found this so it was the largest program in the last five years.

Lots of people have asked for this but both new tiers and new plots would require a complete rework of the Citadel code - it itself being the largest project we have run in at least 5 years. Due to recent changes to the looting system, I couldn't find another alternative but to use the falador party room to host a drop for my clan. It'd be pretty nice to have the citadel party room updated already. Founder of Level IIIs. Pm me anytime on my other account, 'Prodigy'.

Can this have a fresh look please? Also, one of the chief reasons we stopped using the party room is that the squares are too bright. Gave us headaches.

When we do a drop party, we do it at the roof of the keep (above the theathre). This is a big space to drop the items and no animations and stuff.

This way we do have the benefit from the option to close the keep/citadel from guests + no lag. We do not allow people to summon pets when we do a drop party there too.

But I do support a party room like citadel thing and that the flashy tiles also can be optional or so. Ceecs - leader of Ceecs Clan
