The sign-up is now closed.

We need to give Matthe and Shauny a shortlist of proposed organisers and we'll do this in three steps:

1 - Choose Heads for each of the clan cup sections

---- The poll will close on Monday 22nd August

2 - Heads choose their team
---- First consideration is given to applications
---- However, players who have not applied may also be chosen, as long as everyone is from a different clan

3 - Techs and back-ups are added to create a final shortlist which is passed onto Matthe and Shauny -

Since Matthe and Shauny are on holiday, we figured we'd save some time by setting up a Google form application for Clan Cup 2016 organiser roles. Once they return, we can present the responses to Matt and Shauny who should hopefully agree to select some organisers from the applicants.

Quick description of what each role can entail:

PvP Organisers
- Deal with PvP Cup disputes
- Create the threads needed for the PvP Cup and keep them updated with results etc
- Archive/compare the memberlists of participating clans
- Attend and keep an eye on wars when needed
- Advertisement
- Responding to questions on the forums and in-game

Stealing Creation Organisers have similar duties to the PvP organisers


Iron Skilling Organisers
- Deal with Skilling Cup disputes
- Create the threads needed for the Skilling Cup and keep them updated with results etc
- Keep track of the xp gained by every competitor each week and calculate results
- Advertisement
- Responding to questions on the forums and in-game

PvM Organisers
- Deal with PvM Cup disputes
- Create the threads needed for the PvM Cup and keep them updated with results etc
- Review video submissions for rulebreaking
- Collect results from submitted videos and calculate clan scores
- Advertisement
- Responding to questions on the forums and in-game

Techies
- allow organisers to automatically pull data from the RS hiscores for many different players at once
- other tasks relating to automating spreadsheets and pulling data from the website may pop up

Back-up
- Help out if more support is needed but organisers are currently unavailable
- Advertisement -

Since the Clan Cup will be after RuneFest, I don't think I'd be able to make the time to help much, but if I'm still present on Runescape you'll all have my support!<3

In the meanwhile, I encourage as many people to apply as possible. It's okay if you don't think you'd "win," since there might be a position that's created for you as a result of the abilities and resources you can bring to the table. For example, I doubt there were plans to write a rap song about the clan cup to promote it, but if you're a pretty rockin' free styler, then that might change!

Great to see some apps already, thanks :)

@Geeoh - typed it up with the help of Hop and Jamo in the Discord chat :)

@Lisa - we were thinking of maybe getting more people involved via a clan cup logo competition open to the whole community. That was just a quick thought and not a definite plan, but it could be a fun thing to do.

If you'd like to give logo design a shot even without such a competition that would be great :) However, I can make no promises that what you design will definitely be used ofc =\

@Viv - that's an interesting comment, I'll add an 'Other' option to the clan cup section selection question :) -
