No support on the xp being nerfed. This issue has been raised before which got the following response.

From my perspective - I can't comment on Chihiro and Edam's original plans - it's not about the training so much as the use of the resource.

Minion resources are supposed to be a handy wildcard to ease the management burden on citadel upkeep and expansion - they form the last 10% of dribs and drabs that otherwise have to be scraped together at the end of the week, meaning one less thing for admins to worry about. They're not supposed to just do all of that direction for you.

If we let people cap 100% on minions, we're essentially allowing 100% of the resources gathered that week be wildcards, which means there's no reason to use any plot other than summoning, which means admins are more likely to lock every other plot because hey all you need is minions since they have strictly more utility. We don't want that; anyone who would like XP in the other skills doesn't want that.

As such that cap is going to remain.

I personally don't think admins will lock up all the plots so I'm actually in favour of being able to fully cap on it.

If minions were 100% cap i would still leave other plots open so clan members choose what skills they want to cap in.

Ok, so that takes care of the extremes.
Obviously to expect to be able to use your full cap on summon would be silly.
They'd never consider that without a major XP nerf anyway.

So let's reach a middle ground?
Or not even a middle ground, just an increase from 10 to 20, rather than 10 to 100.

I'm considering whether I should close this & start another thread, as I think I lead with the wrong thing here.

I just didn't expect they'd raise the summon cap without a trade off.

But perhaps there is an argument to raise the Summoning cap to 20%?

Ye Andras you're right, the argument that Admins would lock all other plots doesn't stand up.
If people wanted other plots they'd find another clan.
In my clan I've only ever seen Admin+ try to help members, not dictate to them, & I imagine that's the same for the vast majority of clans.

But regardless, I think a small increase might serve to help a lot of clans.
