I have no idea where to post this to receive help as getting in contact with j-mods seems to be almost impossible to resolve issues and what not, I created a thread on our clan forum about 2 weeks ago, it was public so everyone can view it, it was titled 'Recent changes in Close, let's talk about that', I made a new thread yesterday that was Private and as I went to check the forum for the public thread it was gone. It was the thread that was directed to our banner etc so everyone was able to access it and the ID is '7HN6'. It drives me crazy that something like this has happened and I would like to know if I am able to get that thread back and who/why this has happened.
I've since made a thread called test thread which is public since I thought, am I not allowed to create more then 1 thread?
I've also just found out that Admin+ in my clan are able to mess with the clan forum, did someone in my clan do this? (that setting has now been changed to dep owner+)
Please don't let me down.

Unfortunately, threads in your clan page that are not stickied will be deleted after 2 weeks of no activity (new posts or edits). Your thread is gone, and it can't be recovered.
We learned this the hard way and lost a few good threads years ago when this info was unknown to us.
You can have up to 5 threads stickied, which as far as I know, don't have any set period of time that will automatically cause them to be deleted. I would recommend making all useful threads for your clan stickies so they don't disappear, and if you have concerns about others deleting forums, you can alter which ranks have these permissions in your forum's settings.

It's also a good idea to keep the important threads saved elsewhere so that if you do lose them, they can more easily be re-posted.

Yup, such as a notepad on your desktop or something. The amount of times I lost things. Annoying that there's such a limited number of stickies you can make too. At least you now know for the future. Either ensure you bump a thread every week or so, or sticky it. If you can't sticky it, make a save of it on your computer just in case you, or someone else, forgets to bump it.
