I dont want this to be another "ugh again this guy creating a thread about something that was already mentioned before" but after not even hearing a single mention about clans on the stream, I guess its safe to say that many clan leaders were disappointed, if not pissed off that clans were not mentioned. For many people, clans are the only reason that they log in on rs and play. I did a poll in my clan and if it weren't for the clan, half of them would quit, clans got first on runelabs also. Its an update many people want.
Try to keep this thread as clean as possible and straightforward to the point.
IN POINT FORM, POST THE THREE MAJOR UPDATES THAT YOU WANT FOR CLANS.
1) Individual player mutes in clan. Instead of kicking someone, give admins+ (or other ranks) the power to mute clannies as a warning.
2) The permission rewrites. I dont want my admins+ to be able to change clan colors, motto's, them ranking others up etc. For example, only I as an owner should have the ability to change color or mottos but only coordinator's+ should be able to rank people or demote.
3) Clan broadcast messages: the system is a bit messy but having the ability to write custom messages would be excellent in my opinion.
Now, I dont speak for all but I think we all realise that the rewrites and codings is a tremendous and hectic job but considering what (in my opinion) I saw on the stream, I feel like some of those projects can be delayed to make the clans rework more. Maybe the rework can be in one of those major "3 month" projects. The clan rework was requested alot of people and all in all really, what we're asking is to make it a higher priority compared to adding for example more achievements to runescape.
