how about a auto hello option for when you come into 10 squares of a clan mate or friend if your here after what im here after you'll be here after im gone

I think that would create some serious spam - and I would have concerns about potential search load as well code wise, but that is a separate issue

It doesn't take much to open your chat bar and type some form of greeting, or if you're too lazy to type, there's always quick chat (though that's probably a tad slower).

I don't think it's really needed, it's pretty quick to type 'hello' or greet them some way yourself

nty im very slow but its not hard to say hi v as i always shorten peoples names

id hate to be in clan with 500 people on a home world.

it also takes away from the personal bond you have with clan mates.

I know im a strange character who often says hi to strangers that i meet with a morning or afternoon . And my son who is also a reclusive gamer who plays games all his free time always tells me of for saying hello or morning to people i dont know.

But can you imagine if you had a robotic voice that said hi to people you see every day in your street.

Im very introverted and me saying hi to to someone means something . to make this automated makes me even more of a zombie than i am already .

so its a definite no way . from me
