Salutations,

I am in a predicament concerning the fairness of using the bog plugin during the Temple Trekking minigame. This plugin allows tiles to be highlighted automatically that are safe to stand on, thus preventing one to sink in the bog by not having to determine manually which tiles are safe or not with use of the stick. The blog post on 3rd party clients seemed more focused on disallowing such features in PVM situations rather than in this instance. Is this fair to use? Would I be banned for using this plugin?

On a separate note, do all Tomes have an equal chance of being received from said minigame? If not, what are the rates?

P.S. Is there a possibility of deleting the bog event entirely?

In the original message about 3rd party clients , Jagex say:

"We consider features which enable you to bypass gameplay mechanics to be unacceptable"

So I would say yes, that plugin is bannable.

You would likely be subject to macro bans, yes. Please see Jagex' stance on (a small selection of) 3rd party features .

@ Robin Rose - The link provided by Corder above is a good reference for you on what is and is not permitted in 3rd party client use. Remember, Jagex has not ‘approved’ any 3rd party programs and strongly recommends you only use the official client that they provide.

It is appreciated that you searched for a similar thread to your question before posting. However, you have selected a thread that was posted in the RS3 Forums to ask an unrelated question about OSRS and in the process bumped a thread that has been inactive for more than a year.
