Hello everyone!
Stephen and I wanted to wholeheartedly thank everyone who participated in Minigames Weekend. We consistently had multiple worlds up and so many of you bent over backwards to help keep things running smoothly. At times like this, it's important for us to realize that none of this would be possible with out all of you. Our community of ranks has always been a very special group (some more "special" than others, if you get what I'm saying
). You're all committed to helping players out and you give up your precious game time week-after-week to serve our gamer population and make sure they're calling and sharing their clay.
In short--
... to the members of Admin, retired and current alike: most of you gave up your whole weekends to help coordinate hosts and games. We truly couldn't have done it without you. Thank you .
... to the ranks who've been through a double points weekend before: you came in knowing what to expect and still showed up this weekend. Some even came out of retirement to live through it again. Your perseverance through chaos is admirable. Thank you .
... to all of our new ranks that hadn't ever experienced a double points weekend: your baptism by fire is complete. If you can handle this weekend, you can handle anything. Thank you .
... to all of our players: thank you for giving us something to do. It goes without saying, but without people playing SC, our friends chat, like many others, would no longer exist. Thank you for entrusting us with your time this weekend. Thank you .
