Heist4Fun
. We play the minigame Heist with the focus on having fun.
If you're looking for fun Heist games, join us! :) Currently we usually play on world 21 in the evening (game time).

I like to call Heist4Fun the
Heist community friends chat
because it's a friends chat not only for Heist but also for the people who like Heist. We sometimes do other activities in the fc, like warbands or penguin hide and seek.

We do NOT tolerate afk games in the Heist4Fun fc!

Heist


Heist is a minigame. It's like Cops and Robbers. The goal of the Guards is to find the Robbers among a crowd of NPCs. The goal of the Robbers is to avoid detection and get away with loot. Playing the game, whether you win or lose, gives you reward points. These can be used to unlock "Perks", that can be used in the game, and to buy bonus xp for Hunter and Thieving. You can talk to the NPCs in the Heist lobby for a quick tutorial and to spend the reward points.
It's easy to get there: Heist is located directly west of the Falador lodestone. Just climb up the ladder that's hanging from the sky.

Heist4Fun


Heist was really crowded after its release in February 2014 but since then it has slowly lost awareness. Now it's really hard to even find enough players to start a game at all. That's why the Heist community needs a fc more than ever.

Heist for XP


Heist for XP (aka fast heist, boosting) is a way of playing heist that doesn't actually involve 'playing'. You lose the fun but increase the bxp gain. I don't see why anyone who likes Heist would 'boost' (my opinion), but I see that it's great for players who don't like this kind of game (why though?) and still want to benefit from the bxp. Unfortunately there is no active friends chat for that way of 'playing' heist.

Rules


1 - Be nice!
Always stay polite. Don't troll. Help new players. etc.

2 - Play fair!
Just play fair. There's not much more to say about that rule.
(The old Heisters know, what else is included in this rule.)


Fair play guidelines


This is a collection of what most fc members consider fair play.

- No early looting: Robbers should not take loot during the first 10-15 seconds of the game (when the screen is black for guards). They should also not take loot from the bank before guards have the chance to be there.
- No early accusing: Sometimes the short time at the beginning of a game is not enough to find a disguise (due to lag or bad luck). Therefore guards should not accuse undisguised robbers too early.
- No spawn accusing: If you see a robber respawn somewhere, just let him go.
- Switch teams: Please don't insist on staying on the same team (Guards or Robbers) all the time when other players want to swicht. Usually games follow the Green & Switch -principle: 1st game: use green barrier, 2nd game: switch teams, 3rd game: see 1st game

Friend ('smiley')
> Friends of the fc and people who will get a rank soon.
Recruit, Corporal, Sergeant
> People who actively use the fc, a higher rank means that they played more often.
Lieutenant
> Important members of the fc. They have been members of the fc for a very long time a played Heist a lot. Also they are usually nice and help new players.
Captain
> "Moderators", ensure that rules are observed, can kick players
General
> FC owner

Things you can do to get a higher rank:
- Being active in the fc
- Playing Heist with other players from the fc
- Reminding players of the fc rules
- Bumping this forum thread
- ...

The more often you are seen in the fc, the higher your rank. If you feel like you deserve a rank and you don't have one yet or you think you should have a higher rank, feel free to ask here or in game. If you don't come back to the fc for a very long time (several months) you might lose your rank.

Captains and Generals (silver and gold stars) can kick players from the fc.

We don't have any events, just join whenever you want to play Heist and with a bit of luck there are enough players for a game. ;)
If you want to host a Heist event with or without this fc, feel free to advertise it here in the forum thread or in the fc (as long as it's not an afk heist event of course).
