Our trade mark is that we hunt on the basis of threads only. We believe strongly in this concept and it is a conscious choice.

We continue to be grateful for the overwhelming support we receive from our community of hunters. It is our ever-expanding and always flourishing community that has made hunting penguins using only a forums thread so successful.


The forums will always be our communication channel for penguin locations.
Almost ten years of successfully reporting penguin locations by thread only has proven to many that no clan chat is needed for finding, herding and trapping penguins, and you can get your penguins in a record time just by using a thread.

We wish to minimize the posting of off-world locations on our threads, unless in exceptional circumstances (like the Nardah herbalist shop). Please do not advertise other organized penguin worlds / threads' locations, as world 71 is not advertised on theirs.


When you encounter a random penguin, we encourage you to report the penguin's location on our thread,

Whispering Rules


(1) Please wave to a Whisperer if you see one bonding with a penguin.

(2) Please keep within the spirit of the game and refrain from disrupting the herding and trapping activities. This also includes posts on the thread that are inappropriate, confusing, and/or disruptive to maintaining accurate communication.


(3) The Penguin Whisperers operate on world 71. Please do not report locations from other organised penguin hunting world threads, as these worlds already have their own threads.

(4) Respect our open and friendly community atmosphere. If someone is irritating you or provoking you in game while spying penguins, the best solution is to place them on ignore.


(5) If you want to learn more about hunting, herding and trapping, ask advice from those who are with you. Perhaps you can teach each other some new tricks of the trade.

(6) We really welcome people posting updates as they spy, even if it is simply to confirm that the locations are correct.


(7) We kindly ask you to keep in-game issues in-game.

Spawns east of Witchaven church, 1 NW of the floats
Spawn area hint: “... near the coast, west of Ardougne”

2. Port Khazard

Spawns next to the southern dock, in the centre of the 4 pillars
Spawn area hint: “... south of Ardougne”

3. Observatory

Spawns north of the Observatory, near the hill giants
Spawn area hint: “... south of Ardougne”

4. North Ardougne

Spawns west of the Outpost, at the gnome area, west of the broken cart
Spawn area hint: “... north of Ardougne”

5. Brimhaven

Spawns NW of Brimhaven, NE of the gold horseshoe mine

Please do not open the door when the penguin is near it!

2. Port Khazard - trapped in southern cooking building in Port K

3. Observatory - last seen near the Khazard battefield ruins, south southwest of Ardy

4. North Ardougne - last seen south of Gnome Stronghold and well west of the Outpost by the three small lakes

5. Brimhaven - last seen in the jungle west of Brimhaven village

7. Dragontooth Isle - confined

8. Jatizso - last seen on the snowy island north of Jatz-town

9. Neitzinot - confined to the green island north of Neitiznot village

North Ardougne just spotted north of Sprite hunter area. This makes all the snowmen I can spy so the Wildy one has to be the Freezer peng.
You can never
have too many snare drums or cymbals. Yes. That's correct. Cymbals, too.
