Our trade mark is that we hunt on the basis of threads only. We believe strongly in this concept a conscious choice.

We continue to be grateful for the overwhelming support we receive from our community of hunters. It is our ever-expanding and always flourishing community that has made hunting penguins using only a forums thread so successful.


The forums will always be our communication channel for penguin locations.
Eleven years of successfully reporting penguin locations by thread only has proven to many that no clan chat is needed for finding, herding and trapping penguins, and you can get your penguins in a record time just by using a thread.

Whispering Rules


(1) Please wave to a Whisperer if you see one bonding with a penguin.

(2) Please keep within the spirit of the game and refrain from disrupting the herding and trapping activities. This also includes posts on the thread that are inappropriate, confusing, and/or disruptive to maintaining accurate communication.

(3) The Penguin Whisperers operate on world 71. Please do not report locations from other organised penguin hunting world threads, as these worlds already have their own threads.

(4) Respect our open and friendly community atmosphere. If someone is irritating you or provoking you in game while spying penguins, the best solution is to place them on ignore.

(5) If you want to learn more about hunting, herding and trapping, ask advice from those who are with you. Perhaps you can teach each other some new tricks of the trade.

(6) We really welcome people posting updates as they spy, even if it is simply to confirm that the locations are correct.

(7) We kindly ask you to keep in-game issues in-game.

(8) Above all: Sit back, relax and have fun!


Please note:
We wish to minimize the posting of off-world locations on our threads, unless in exceptional circumstances (like Nardah herbalist shop). Please do not advertise other organized penguin worlds/threads locations, as world 71 is not advertised on theirs,

So, when you encounter a random penguin we encourage you to report the penguin's location on our thread,

Secret Agents Fun Facts


They cannot be found with the new spying device. Also, like regular penguin spies, they cannot be seen as dots on the mini-map.

(These days Agents can be found almost anywhere. Our list contains several, but to see a complete list, use Runescape Wiki)

Spawn:
randomly, but new spots. Currently known spawns include
1. Ranch Out Of Time near southern large pen
2. north of Jatizso
3. southeast corner near rope spawn of Living Rock Caverns
4. Tuai Leit near bank in the Arc
5. west at The Lost Grove
6. south west of Warforge digsite
7. Haunted Woods

You might know that we're fans of world hopping. Let us know how it works for these.

Appearance

Penguin (larger) with suitcase, whom everyone can see. However, it despawns after the first person spies it or 1 minute.

Benefits

2 points and a casket; maximum of 10x a week

Possible each time you spy a regular penguin spy, where he is within viewing range.
Pop-up screen notification of spawn

Appearance

Penguin (smaller) with a scarf, whom only you can see. It despawns after you spy it or 1 minute. Currently noted as random and possibility of none occurring per spying all regular penguins.

Benefits

2 points and a casket; maximum has not been established.

Spawns west of ALS fairy ring, by north end of red vine
Spawn area hint: "... the kingdom of Kandarin"

2. Gnome Maze bush

Spawns in SW maze, in T-shaped dead-end with 2 benches
Spawn area hint: “... south of Ardougne”

3. Draynor Manor bush

Spawns in Draynor Manor yard, NE of the entrance
Spawn area hint: "... in the kingdom of Misthalin"

4. Southern Desert cactus

Likely spawns west of Pollnivneach, at “h” in “Kharidian” on map
Spawn area hint: “... in the southern desert”

5. Entrana Island barrel

Spawns on NW edge of Entrana, near the rocks in the water
Spawn area hint: “... where no weapons may go”

6. Neitiznot/Jatizso bush

Spawns on the 3rd island (1st white island from Neitiznot)
Spawn area hint: “... on islands where brothers quarrel”
Quest requirement: Start Fremennik Isles

7. Wilderness rock

Spawns SE of the Wilderness Volcano, level 15 Wilderness, north of “8”-shaped pond
Spawn area hint: “... in the Wilderness”

8. Elfland Northern Camp

Spawns SE of the log balance to Elf Camp
Spawn area hint: “... near the pointy-eared ones”
Quest requirement: Start Regicide

9. Elfland Lleyta toadstool

Spawns west of Lletya’s town entrance (pergoda)
Spawn area hint: “... near the pointy-eared ones”
Quest requirement: Start Mourning’s Ends Part I (or, with help, it is possible to spy him after starting Regicide)

10. Canifis/Haunted Woods crate

Spawns in the Haunted Woods, to the east by the curved C lake
Spawn area hint: “... where bloodsuckers rule”

Likely spawns just SW of the resting spot icon / musician
Spawn area hint: “... in the southern desert”
Quest requirement: Complete Back to the Freezer & Start Icthlarin's Little Helper (or use either a Pharaoh's sceptre (“Jalsavrah”) teleport (level 21 thieving required) or, with help, he can be spied from outside Menaphos)

Additional spy after completing Hunt for Red Raktuber :

The polar bear (1 point) is inside

Some updates for you. I also encouraged the Entrana peng to take up the art of farming while I was there (I hope I got the description right).
