Just wanted to drop in and say thank you for your help~ managed to get the pet, after my fourth (or fifth?) run. So again, a huge thanks to everyone involved with running this -- you guys rock. Wishing you all the best of luck for future runs!

Thank you for the fun times getting the Mega Duck. It took several attempts over the course of 2 days, but it was fun and the ranks, aka volunteers, were friendly and mostly patient.

The problem with blocking comes when an NPC* or another player ‘breaks’ your block. This happens when they step on you and then move off of you. Your block is not broken until they move away.

Thankfully, when this happens, there are many ways to make it so that you block again.
1) Take one step in any direction, and then move back to your original spot.
2)
Use a specific item
, such as the ring of stone, easter ring, ring of snow, or bone brooch. (morph and then un-morph)
3)
Use a specific emote
, such as the dungeoneering emote, the give thanks emote, or the seal of approval emote. (again, morph and then un-morph)

Thank you so much for the help getting the mega duck pet and special title!

Just a head's up, the White Wolf Mountain rework coming with Tuesday's update may affect the runner's route.

According to the Developer Q&A broadcast last week published on Aug 18, 2016, "to navigate on to the mountain, you have to navigate into a cave", (time stamp 29:15). When asked about the MegaDuck, Mod Ramen sounded uncertain but said "there will be a way" (time stamp 31:04) and Mod Shauny followed up by saying they will "get that double checked and then we'll be good to go."

My suggestion would be for as many people as possible get the duck now, before the update, just in case there is a problem with the route..
