Sadly the recent Mining and Smithing Rework caused numerous glitches to our beloved Shooting Star D&D and Jagex has taken them offline. It appears re-coding will be needed to bring them back and there is no estimate on repairs.

Dear ranks,

I am curious as to how the mining update has affected stars. Would kindly appreciate the answers to these questions if you guys know:

1. Is it actually slower to obtain star dust now? Sure feels like it lol. (I have: 99 mining | pickaxe of earth and song | magic golem outfit | golden mining suit).

2. Does re-clicking on the star to max up the stamina bar actually make a difference to dust collection? As in faster gathering?
