Hi, I'm not sure if this is used very often, but I think this is worth posting because I'm a little disgusted by it.

Today a troll dropped by (nothing too abnormal) but wasn't being a troll- just asking about the next wave of stars and how to check for it. One of the mods, Auric Gleam, decided that this warranted kicking. Whatever, known troll, not a big deal.

After this, someone questioned and asked why he was kicked (not knowing it was a troll). Someone said it was a troll, the person still argued it was unjustified, and Auric kicked them as a result. I think it was a bit much, but did not justify writing a forum post over it.

At this point, 4-5 others, including a regular, questioned and asked Auric to relax and stop abusing his power. Auric then responded by kicking all of them and anyone who said anything received no answer, just an immediate kick.

I think this kills the sense of community that the friends chat fosters and discourages people from learning or staying and reporting their stars. I'm not asking for Auric to be demoted or anything- just for someone who has influence in the chat to speak to him about it and ask him to relax and be more understanding instead of taking a totalitarian banhammer approach.

Edit: In the process of writing this, two more people got kicked for calling out Auric on his abuse of power. Just a scrub trying to reach max

i was one of the ones removed please have more understanding and patiance there was no reason to remove me i am always in the chat helping and doing what i can to help a simple stop talking about the sitiation would of been enough instead of instantly booting me i am considering finding another chat for my star needs
