There is currently no way to scope free to play worlds. So searching all locations will be required once portals are gone.
f2p stars are almost all easy to get to; the only 2 restricted locations are: 1) the craft guild, which requires lvl 40 crafting, and 2) Crandor, which requires access to the island of Crandor from partial completion of Dragon Slayer quest.
There are 19 locations available on f2p worlds: Asgarnia (4), Misthalin (4), North desert (3), and wildy (7), C/K (1). The desert spots are scorps, akb, and da. The only C/K spot is Crandor.
