Went to Nex to use a few Deathtouched darts, hit Nex, Nex didn't die, ended up killing me because the dart failed to work. Got the message "That creature is already being insta-killed!" before Nex killed me.

What are the odds of getting another dart to try again or at least not lose anything?

Nex is listed in the wiki as one of the creatures that deathtouched darts do not work on -

^ That's incorrect. Darts DO work on Nex. It's even listed in the article you linked. Nex: Angel of Death is a different story.

HOWEVER, it's possible to run into this very issue, especially when using multiple darts. It's recommended to use anticipate before throwing a dart, as I believe it effectively cancels out what you're describing.

You could submit a lost item claim, but I wouldn't really recommend it for this. Submit a bug report and wait for DTDs to appear in a shop soon.

Edit to add :o ne will be available from tomorrow's (30/10/22) Travelling Merchant Shop, and you'll receive one from the Halloween log in bonus thing.

That's ony for Nex: Angel of Death. They do work on normal mode Nex.
