Lol, and who's going to pay for all the server space? Jagex needs $$$ to pay for the storage of our in-game bank space, and they get that as part of the membership fees. 7 Bonds may be a lot in my mind for the latest promotion/sale offer, but I can still understand it as being a pre-paying of storage for a long time, for an unlock that goes forever. Besides, you aren't being forced to pay for the 7 bonds, and the membership fee gets you a LOT more than just bank space. Things may be looking down now, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel;
Do you think I should get off the tracks?

No need really. I was getting more and more spaces in my bank since a couple of years ago. I just got 50 more free bankslots with the release of Necromancy, as well as extra storages for all the bones among other things in the Focus Storage. Another head up is we are going to have a satchel style container for all Necromancy runes.

I will rather see more containers like pouches, bags, quivers etc than more unused bankslots.
